MVS has almost 600 yards and is averaging almost 18 per reception.
He’s been a solid #3 option. |
My issue with MVS is not his production, it is his drops. 6 drops and 33 receptions. Not a good ratio. Kelce has 6 drops on 77 receptions.

Yeah, MVS has been fine, although the drops are irritating-but then, that's what he's always been.
As WR3/option#4 he's been fine. |

MVS is catching longer, tougher passes. |

A step or two below AB? Or, a step or two above MVS in terms of catch rate? That would be nice, and not nearly as expensive. |
Really hoping he was going to play this weekend but sounds like unless he has a setback he will return next week.

I’d attempt to replace MVS in the off-season just because of the frustration. He’s all around pretty good, but the drops, god damn man.

But yeah he’s been pretty bad in the red zone IMO |
Toney's value to the team is going to be his availability. Can he take the field (even in a #4 WR role) in 15 of the 17 games and be ready for the playoffs? If the answer is yes, then he's worth the effort. TBH, we don't know how serious the injury was before we got him. It may be fine after this rest.
As far as MVS goes, yes, he does drop some easy ones, but at least 2 of his have been in contested situations. He opens the field for other receivers and he will block. Seriously, when was the last time you saw Hardman knock anyone down? |
