Yea, you would’ve guess the same thing last year about LT after they missed out on Trent Williams.

There are still a good amount of free agents still available too.

Maybe relax and wait and see?

There are not a good amount of pass rusher free agents available. Like our o line last season, our d line needs that now. But we appear to be staying the same. Even bringing back the biggest underachiever of them all

Way down the list of reasons we weren’t in the SB this year.

I’m not a doomsday guy. And I realize there’s still a ways to go. But could any of you have scripted a worse offseason thus far for this team? It’s not about what the Chiefs have or haven’t done - I still love Veach - but rather what our biggest competitors have done.

I cannot understand any of you that are minimizing how bad this has gone over the past week.

I don't scare easily when it comes to what other teams do, and prefer to wait and see what the Chiefs plan is before I come to any conclusions. If we're still in this shape going into the season, then I'll be worried. Lots of time to address things. I'm sure Varch will.

You don’t seem to understand that they 100% aren’t finished, and they can just as easily end up trading for a proven bet when it’s all said and done (like Brown last year).

And if you think we’re going to “stay the same”, then you’ve learned nothing the last few offseasons (aside from the Run It Back offseason of course).

It’s actually number one. How many times were our overpaid pass rushers unable to bring down burrow. He just shrugged them off. It’s not like he is cam or Big Ben. He’s a scrawny kid with a bum knee

I feel like that’s what we’re waiting on.

We can restructure anytime we want. That Friday deadline is last time we can restructure

No, Patrick Mahomes turning into a pumpkin in the 2nd half of the AFCCG was reason #1.

Regardless of our pass rush, the defense did more than enough to win that game.

That was on the offense, and in particular, Mahomes.

Man, I wish Veach could pull of a trade similar to last year with Hunter.

Give the Vikings #30, get their 2nd back, and give another 2023 pick to sweeten the deal.

I’d love that.

Where’s their 2? If we’re still in the low/mid 40s that’s not bad.

But he’s not as young and nowhere near as cheap as Brown. Hell, he’s probably not as ‘safe’ given the injuries.

He’s not worth what Brown was worth at all.
