Looks like I was right. We should of signed Ellington.

Patrick Mahomes does well under adverse weather conditions ---> http://www.espn.com/blog/kansas-city...her-conditions

Quote:

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- Cool, windy and rainy conditions at Kansas City Chiefs training camp on Saturday didn’t seem to affect rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes II.

Mahomes was the only one of the Chiefs’ three top quarterbacks who didn’t throw an interception. Mahomes completed 6 of 10 passes in full team drills and 10 of 13 in 7-on-7 drills.

Wow moments: Mahomes made three big-time throws, two on go routes down the right sideline in a 7-on-7 drill, one to Jehu Chesson and the other to Tevin Jones. Perhaps even more impressive was a back-shoulder throw into the wind that was caught by Marcus Kemp in a full team drill.

Whoa moment: Mahomes threw incomplete to tight end Ross Travis even though Travis had been left uncovered.

It's either Chesson or Kemp. One will go to the PS

The Chiefs moved up to draft Chesson. If he doesn't make the roster, John Dorsey deserves to be fired.

Wait, what?

Why is it either Chesson or Kemp? DAT and Wilson should go to the scrap heap.

Wilson I already have not making the team. DAT is there because he's our kick returner.

Why would Albert Wilson not make the team? He was was beasting yesterday and made some nice catches and plays. He lost a shoe going in for a touchdown against Peters.

Chesson was a hell of a kick returner in college. DAT hasnt ever done a damn thing for this team.

In a 1 on 1, it is impossible. Because he is faster than any other person on the field, he can only be covered for a portion of his route. That is improved for the defense if there is deep help. Which does not apply in 1 on 1 & the q.b. can wait out the covered interval.

Which is where the rush comes in.

I want to hear when/if/who a db makes a play in 1 on 1. Hill should win every time.

From the reports, it sounds like Peters has done the best job, but was still burned badly several times. I like this matchup- it can only make them both better.

This team is going to be very hard to beat this year. Very few weaknesses.

This is the same team as last year for me. A roster in the discussion for the best roster in the league but an average and limited QB who will probably prove too big a hurdle when come playoff time.

That is not a knock on Smith whom I think is a good QB but is it what it is.

Hammock Parties 08-05-2017 02:13 PM

Mahomes was really excellent today. The back shoulder throw was a thing of ****ing beauty.

Meanwhile, ASS11 was throwing picks to DBs who will be in the arena league in a month...
