@Delano, you're a ****ing moron. Be a cheerleader all you want. I'm not crying because I didn't get "My guy," I supported taking half a dozen other guys there. I didn't want THIS guy. THIS guy has a 10% chance of ever doing anything of note in the NFL. We just took THAT chance in the FIRST ROUND.

I don't hope he fails. I have to hope he doesn't fail. The odds are stacked against it HEAVILY. What part of that does your tiny brain not understand? We're not talking about maybes. We're talking about ACTUAL NFL DATA on the subject. We're talking about 2 OL in the last 23 ****ing years have EVER come back to be players at at least their same skill level out of 17 that had the injury.

This is not hard shit to understand. The Chiefs took a MASSIVE, EPIC, HUGE, ENORMOUS, INSERT YOUR FAVORITE VERB HERE, gamble on NEED.

The left side of the line looks like a lot of projection at this point.

The contract situation that Tunsil had might not have been great

So Rashee Rice comeback player of the year, Josh Simmons Rookie of the Year and Mack Lee Hill Award Winner?

The injury data stuff, I just…. Meh.

This isn’t a common injury like an ACL. There’s what, a couple guys each year MAX who suffer it that we’ve heard of?

Brett veach is undefeated. He’s like a 6’2 blonde skinny girl. No mistakes.

You're trusting Veach to trust Burkholder.

PFF had him ranked as the 18th best player in the draft.

Thanks to DJ and others pointing this out I had no idea this injury is so bad to come back from. Lucas Niang had this injury as well. Seems like a big gamble just because of this injury.

We all hope and pray he recovers fine and is a stud for us.

Present it.

The micro-fracture surgery? The hell I did.

And you know how I can be DOUBLY positive of that fact? I took a year off from CP after the Colts loss in the playoffs the year he got hurt. And he got hurt before anybody knew anything about him. In all probability, I didn't even offer an opinion to speak of on Kelce until 2015.

So back that up or shut the **** up.

I have half a patella tendon in one knee from an mx jump gone wrong….it was sore as hell for a long time, and is pretty tight and makes a lot of noise 25 years later….but there hasn’t been any stability issues with my knee.

I had mine done 25 years ago, had no rehab. This isn’t the problem some of you are making it out to be. He’s not a war or explosion position. If the Drs trust it, and Bret veach trusts mahomes with this pick…..

Count me in.

Willie road walked like his knees were tied together for years…..and he was pretty ****ing good.

Give this kid a chance.

This is why CP blows every other Chiefs site out of the water. LMAO

How can one be mad?

Yep, i hope this gets bumped 15 years from now for laughs.

Can Taylor play Left Guard? Might be a decent way to replace Thuney for a little while until dumping Taylor next year. At least get some of your money's worth on the Taylor contract instead of having him ride the bench for $20 million.
