Lord - USA is lucky to have gotten this to overtime.

That third period was an absolute ass-kicking.

I actually thought that was USA’s best period so far, they pretty much controlled the first half of it.

Canada got chance after chance in the last 10 though

I don't think we put a string of more than 2 passes together in the Canadian zone that entire 3rd period.

This being a defensive lockdown was not on my bingo card.

I was putting the oldest to bed for the first 5 minutes so maybe that's why I thought it looked so bad.

Anytime we had offensive possession we just used it to swing a line change and then went back on the defensive. It was just such a passive game plan. It was like a neutral zone trap where we...gave them the neutral zone.

I just didn't see a thing I liked.

I don't disagree that that's why they're playing that way, I disagree with them playing that way. Canada has too much firepower, you've got to go for the win.

That's kinda my thought.

You can see what they're doing - I just don't think they should be doing it.

I mean I'm not even seeing much of a forecheck. I just don't know how they expect to force a mistake this way.

It just looks so easy for Canada to get the puck out of their own end.

Meanwhile I feel like they get three chances before we can clear anytime they get the offensive zone.
