Hey guess what. It’s easier for OTHER TEAMS too.

Mahomes is doing this in a league full of great passers AND Lamar Jackson too.

Joe Montana always had elite defenses backing him. Mahomes would have at least 2 more rings if he had that type of defense in 2018 or 2020 or 2021. This year KC has a very strong defense for the first time backing Mahomes. Imagine if they had that for an entire decade like the Niners of the 1980’s or Steelers of 1970’s. Imagine if they didn’t lose Tyreek to the salary cap, lol

The 49ers defense is fraudulent. It is NOT what the Chiefs faced in SV LIV.

Nick Bosa is still Nick Bosa. But Arik Armstead isn't what he was, Hargrave is not as good as Buckner, and Chase Young and the other DEs have been disappointing. The Chiefs DL is better, especially if Charles Omenihu is available and healthy.

Fred Warner is great. But other than that, the back 7 is not configured to handle or slow down Patrick Mahomes with any consistency.

If the Chiefs play one more clean game and the D is able to confuse Purdy and Shanahan like I think it is going to, I think it's a more comfortable win than the one we saw today.

This is pretty accurate. 49ers have a lot of money in the D-line but it isn't very good. Warner is ...inconsistent. He's been taking wrong holes a lot lately. Losing Hufanga early in the season really hurt them. Brown is doing decently, but he's a big step down. Greenlaw is better than most know though.

Yeah, Greenlaw is a nice player, but he's more of a run-and-chase guy.

One thing that really stood out about the Ravens was how sure the tackling was. They squeezed KC's YAC better than any other opponent this season. That's not really what the 49ers do.

Baltimore tackling was very impressive. They looked like a #1 quality defense in that regard.

They looked a lot better than SF that's for sure.

I don't want to seem confident or anything but I'm going with KC 30 SF 13.

I just feel like this defense is going to be absolutely ****ing nails again. SF is not as good defensively as they seem to be, especially against the pass where they live off of turnovers but are middle of the pack in reality.

I love this matchup for us.

I said it a week ago that if we get by the Ravens I like our matchups against the Lions or 9ers.

The 9ers defense is quite bad. They can be run on at will for the most part.

They legit should have lost to the Packers

They are the 3rd best scoring defense. Granted they haven't been playing as well lately, but that is what they are.

But I do expect us to handle them, and quite easily.

Niners were pretty fortunate Detroit kept dropping the ball. Green Bay & Detroit receivers seemed to be open all game against the Niners defense.

jdubya 01-29-2024 12:37 AM

If I’m KC I get Pacheco established early attacking the Niners weakness which is the run. It will open easy big play opportunities downfield when needed.

If I’m the Niners, I feed McCaffery and Kittle as early as possible. When Kittle gets involved, nice things happen to the Niners.

RUN IT BACK!! FROM THE ****ING WILDCARD
TWO PEAT LETS GOOOOO

BossChief 01-29-2024 01:54 AM

I expect a very spirited game from a lot of guys that know this may be their last game in a Chiefs uniform and will leave it all on the field.

Jones
Sneed
Smith
Gay
Tranquill
Trey
MVS
Danna
Edwards

I kinda think a lot of those guys are going to play the game of their lives.

Danguardace 01-29-2024 02:25 AM

Their run Defense is Bottom 3 surprisingly
