Navarro Bowman is rumored to be released soon as well... If this move ends up with either him or Gary Barnidge than this was absolutely the right move to make.

Dorsey has proven more than his fair share amount of times that he deserves the benefit of the doubt. I'm pumped to see what he has up his sleeves.

Unless the Chiefs finally worked out the Pestilence-approved plan of trading for Mychal Kendricks, we're not making any significant roster moves.

A Kendricks move would be perfect as well.

if it's a trade for Sherman I would laugh

Might as well.

Need to hold the opposing offense to 3 points or less to have a shot at winning.

Dorsey is also the GM who admitted he should have done more to address the WR position three years ago after the Chiefs' WR's set the 0 TD receptions in a season record, which led to Maclin's signing.

It would seem based on the current WR depth chart, that Dorsey is making the same mistake.

If you don't ask him to take a pay cut and cut him the salary isn't the problem.

Do you think we'd have the ammo for that?

For those projecting Antonio Brown to fill Hines Ward's void, a reminder of Brown's rookie season at WR:

16 catches
167 yards
0 TD's

This from a 6th round draft pick who was healthy all season and for a Steelers team that had a shortage of healthy/available WR's at various times last season due to injuries.

FYP

By the way, KC won 12 games last year basically without Maclin.

Will we miss Maclin at WR? Probably. But the additional cap flexibility this provides is a good thing. Kinda feels like Dorsey was not happy with our cap situation, hence some of the front office moves and now this. It's pretty clear that Mr Dorsey isn't the type to just let thing be. He's gonna be proactive, take the bull by the horns and make thing happen. I like that guy!

With Pitta injuring that hip again the Ravens are likely to go after Barnidge now.

DJ Johnson is more likely to play two more seasons in the NFL than Navorro Bowman is.

That dude is more done than anybody we've had on our roster since Ben Grubbs.
