Sorry, that extra win doesn't mean much when NU played Va Tech in non-con play, a team that went on to win a BCS game, while MU played...ummm...a 5-7 Illinois team.

Look, the bottom line here is that if you fuggers would've taken care of business against KU, this wouldn't even have been an issue. We shit the bed when we played you, you shit the bed when you played KU. There wasn't a significant difference in the two teams' seasons overall.

Nebraska lost to Iowa State last season while Mizzou beat the Cyclones. Ergo Missouri should have played Arizona in the Holiday Bowl.

Except that Missouri destroyed Nebraska head-to-head, had a better overall record, and finished ahead in conference. Exact same seasons if you disregard those three minor details.

I wasn't making the argument that NU was better than MU.
