But man, you talk about smoke... All the "ultimatum" has done is speed up the process, in my mind. Texas probably did Mizzou and Nebraska a favor by pushing the issue. There's a reason that after the Big XII meetings only two people spoke. The Big XII commish, and the Texas Prez. Beebe's a puppet. Texas is running the whole show, and those without a better option are kneeling to kiss the ring.. or worse. |

LMAO I don't see why ND would join in that situation... it would be crazy though. Michigan, Nebraska, and Notre Dame in the same conference... SSSOOOO much history, and at least 50 minutes per hour of GameDay dedicated to Big 10 football. :Lin: |

Everyone is stating what they're hoping as fact so that, if it ends up being true, they can say they broke the story. I'm gonna wait until it's official. I figure it won't be until Friday.

If KU is going to end up anywhere other than the Big12, I would want it to be the ACC.

If Kansas joins the MWC, I'm killing myself. If they go independent in basketball (which won't happen) and MWC in football, I'm chopping off an arm. If Missouri and Nebraska go to the Big 10 and at least two teams from the Big East go too, then the Big 12 should invite New Mexico, Louisville, Cincinnati, UNLV/Nevada/Houston/Baylor/Rice/Memphis/Utah/TCU etc. If that happens, actually the conference is in better shape than before.
Kansas Iowa State Oklahoma Oklahoma State Texas Texas A&M Texas Tech Kansas State New Mexico Louisville Cincinnati Colorado Baylor Utah Nevada TCU A little uneven in football for the North and South, but you get the idea. |
