My wife has started to vacuum our Labs. She says she doesn't stick the hose on the skin just gets it close to grab the loose hair. Never would have thought they would stand still for it, but they love it.

Our ninth puppy we raised for Leader Dogs for the Blind (Gudrun aka 'Ren) has graduated and is with her forever person in Mexico City, MX.

Our Jack Russell we had to put down last fall loved being vacuumed. In fact, if you tried to vacuum the floor, he'd come over and stand in the way until you put on the brush attachment and gave his coat a once or twice over.

I've tried with the Shepherd. He likes biting the vacuum attachments... Still working on that one.

For your consideration.

As you can see in my previous post, he's a handsome fellow. He's the most intelligent dog I've ever had, has a great personality, works 24/7 protecting his family, is well mannered, and is great with kids.
:D

HELP WANTED. For a friend
Who goes by the code name of Dodger.
Mans best friend for life, a virgin in strife
I'd like to find him some bitches to Rodger.

A boarder collie he might be of mix
no papers to certify his breed
but a playdate with your she-dog
will take care of his needs.

Dodger won't care if she's short, fat or bald
or if her pedigree is top billing
as long as her tail is up
and her back side he's drilling.

The newest addition to our family, Ollie. About a year old, looks to be a beagle mix, maybe some Lab, who knows. He's a mutt and some redneck couldn't keep him and was gonna shoot him, so now he's ours.

He's a really good dog, pretty sure he's deaf in one ear and maybe has some vision problems on that same side.

Roxy was a skinny abused dog we saved at 1 year old. She ran for two straight months on 30 acres. This is what she looked like after tons of raw meat and the daily workout.

That's awesome...

And if the doorbell rings? Hair teeth and eyeballs (though tired eyes)?

Yyyyyyup. Ours is a rescue too, and if we ever had a rabbit problem before, we don't now.
