Big 12 Champs!!!! Suck it, Texas!

Bronco_buster2 03-05-2022 05:35 PM

Give Obaji credit though. Even after his game he will be happy since they won. Gotta admire that

Well thankfully McCormack showed up on his senior night because other than that it was pretty ugly (31 percent shooting overall). I'll take the win and the B12 title after the past week of games.

Iowa State really hanging tough with Baylor.

27-4 right now

How many posts to will Iowa State to victory?

smithandrew051 03-05-2022 07:35 PM

We are the 1 seed, so we can expect to see Texas again before long

KC_Connection 03-05-2022 07:37 PM

Didn’t watch it but UNC winning that game is hilarious.

KSU/WVU on Thursday and then UT/TCU on Friday if they win that.

Correct.

Baylor and Kansas are likely playing for a 1 seed in this tournament.

Bracketology has Baylor as a 1, but I can’t believe that would stand if Kansas wins the conference tourney.

I watched a bit of it. Pretty epic to lose that game.

Then had the lead with a few minutes left, only to lose still.

If Baylor makes it to the conference championship, it probably doesn't make a difference if they lose.

If Kansas were to beat Baylor in the conference championship game, I have a really hard time imaging that Baylor would get a 1 over Kansas.

They would have the exact same overall record. Same conference record. Baylor would likely only have like 2 more Q1 wins than Kansas, but Kansas would’ve taken 2 of 3 from Baylor with a conference tourney title too.

Based on previous precedent, unless Baylor gets blown out, I really don't see it making that much of a difference.

As it stands now, I view Gonzaga and Arizona as locks barring them losing their first games in their conference tournaments. I think Baylor gets a 1 unless they lose early. Kansas I feel is TBD depending on what they do as well as Kentucky and Auburn. If Kansas makes it to the B12 title and loses to someone other than Baylor I don't think they'll get a 1. I'd probably put them as a 1 over Auburn and Kentucky if they lost to Baylor.

KU is a 2 seed. Be thankful for that.

They aren’t winning the b12 tourney.
