Ugh, sorry to hear it man. It always breaks my heart to hear that anybody, especially of CP family, has to do that, even if it's the merciful thing to do.

GloryDayz 09-07-2018 01:19 PM

Oh, and don't wait long to rescue another, waiting a year was a very stupid thing I did. Look now....

sorry to hear dude.
I'm sure your little guy was grateful for his time with you.

so, we've got six 'house pets'. four cats two dogs. it's nothing for me to wake up in the middle of the night, to either walk full on into a dog poo, or a slimy hairball.

and i have gotten good at avoiding them too. (sometimes our hardwood floor grain knots trick me into thinking there is a spew at 3 am in the dark.)

anyways, i digress.

tonight i go downstairs to let the dogs out. its dark, with some ambient light.

oh, and btw: i dont clean anything up when it comes to excrement from the animals.

i see what i think is a large dog shit.

so i come upstairs, yell at the youngest boy to put the rubber gloves on, get the paper towels, don't throw it in the bin cause it will stink, mode.

so he goes downstairs after said vermin, and i thought (because we keep our washed laundry down there), what if it was a sock in the dark.... so i scream... it may not be a turd afterall....it could be a sock....

he yell's 'it's a ****ing goddamned sock, if you had turned the light on, you would have known'

ROFLROFLROFL

(even my wife stated: you spew a day before an animal shits in the house, but yet you didn't smell a thing)

and this all happened in less than two minutes, it's not like we debated and drew straws as to whom would clean it up ROFL

Last night my cat pal Neighbor Cat passed away. We had him for 18 years and he was a couple of years old when we adopted him. I'm heartbroken. He was just a garden variety little gray tabby cat, but he had the best disposition, and Mrs. B and I loved him very much. He was the coolest, most laid back friendly cat I've ever owned. He never met a human he didn't like. He passed in his sleep last night laying next to my wife. On one hand I'm so sad words don't do it justice. On the other hand, I'm relieved I didn't have to take him up to the vet to have him euthanized. That was the plan for this morning, and I was dreading it. Neighbor was able to go out on his own terms in the place he loved most. I'll miss him desperately, he was one of my very best friends.

Sorry to hear that George. This world is a better place with our 4 legged friends.

My sincere condolences, Mr Blowfish... he was a handsome fellow

Sorry to hear that George. Just make sure you don't wait long to bring a new pet into you home. Even if he wasn't your only pet...

He has a bad hip, allergies and extreme anxiety from apparently watching his mom and siblings hit by a car.
All in all he will probably end up being the best dog I will ever have.
His replacement will be a pair of Shiloh Shepherds
