Actually, it's very possible a new GM isn't announced until after the Super Bowl, especially if two of Clark's candidates currently work for the teams that are playing in it.

What IS bullshit, is that if an offer was made to Pioli, (which I seriously doubt) Clark wouldn't be giving him a month to decide.

I hope Herm isn't the deal breaker for Pioli. If so, Clark is a piece of shit.

Yep. It contradicts itself entirely.

Yeah...I trust that Clark will do the right thing though. If breaks that trust then then the fanbase will turn on him.

Heard 610 just announced 6 year, 40Mil contract for Pioli, decision won't be made until after superbowl, but herm must go according to Pioli.

that's a little suspect because wouldn't Pioli want to have some coaches/scouts in place during the Senior Bowl Week? I'm sure the Patriots wouldn't be happy if Pioli was using their time & money to scout players for the Chiefs.

I wish Carl would have just fired everyone in the building before he "officially" stepped down.

As per Rotoworld:
According to the National Football Post's Michael Lombardi, the Chiefs have Charley Casserly and George Kokinis lined up if Pats VP of Player Personnel Scott Pioli turns down the GM job.
Kokinis is also drawing interest in Cleveland, where he is thought to be Eric Mangini's choice for GM duties. Casserly has been working in television since his bold move to draft Mario Williams for the Texans in 2006.

So I keep hearing Pollian is a candidate, but has he or will he even be interviewed?

OnTheWarpath15 01-08-2009 05:09 PM

Dear God.

THINK guys.

Clark has said on several occasions that he wants someone YOUNG.

The guy is 60 ****ing years old.

Clark is playing things close to the vest, and the media is throwing out whatever they can to make it look like they are getting info.
