Hell of a finish to an amazing fight

JohnnyHammersticks 06-11-2022 11:47 PM

That was an top-10 all-time light heavyweight fight in my opinion. Thought each guy was finished multiple times. What a war.

dmahurin 06-13-2022 03:25 PM

Better fight so far this year, Texeira/Prochazka or Burns/Chimaev?

Texeria. There were like 4 different times I thought that fight was over but nope

Titty Meat 06-18-2022 04:15 PM

Good card tonight the prelims have been the best of the year IMO

Titty Meat 06-18-2022 06:09 PM

His opponent is pretty damn good has great hands. Probably night the fight a guy should have taken who's been out for awhile

Titty Meat 06-18-2022 07:15 PM

Another finish. Just a remarkable night of fights

Best card I've watched in a long time, even the chick fights were kinda badass

It was fast moving, most of the early fights were pretty quick

Cerrone and Lauzon mutually pulling out at the the very last minute was a stain tho, they just fleeced UFC for some early guaranteed money

We will show up, make weight... then quit on you for a decent paycheck

I'll never doubt Cerrone's willingness to fight. He's done enough last minute replacement fights for me to believe he will fight anyone they put in front of him. Plus, I don't think they get paid show money just to weigh in

Mephistopheles Janx 07-02-2022 08:39 PM

Pedro knew he wasn't going to win and wasn't close to a decision.

Dude needs to go play soccer with the way he sold that injury.

Some Brazilians are made out of pure steel and some are soft as two-ply. It’s so weird.

Easy 6 07-23-2022 04:03 PM

Wow, huge disappointment with Aspinall vs Blaydes

Looked like a football player getting a no-contact shredded knee

Titty Meat 07-23-2022 09:56 PM

Paddy is going to be the next UFC star great fighter and entertaining

JohnnyHammersticks 08-20-2022 07:36 PM

Watching this UFC card with the Gronkowski family doing commentary. Gronk just asked Dana White - who was on with them - to tell his Brady and Gronk to the Raiders story. Dana looked at Gronk kind of funny and asked him if he really wanted him to reveal the story and Gronk said yes.

Apparently Dana White put together a deal 3 years ago that involved Brady and Gronk signing with the Raiders. It advanced far enough that Dana said Brady was shopping for houses in Las Vegas, but then Gruden called the whole thing off at the last minute.

dmahurin 09-09-2022 11:44 AM

Chimaev is almost 10 pounds overweight. Might lose the main event for tomorrow.

LOL no

dmahurin 09-09-2022 02:25 PM

Looking like it might be Diaz/Ferguson.

ToxSocks 09-09-2022 02:32 PM

What's the over/under on how many minutes into the 1st round before Nate Diaz starts bleeding?

Right after Herb Dean says touch gloves if you would like I'd guess.

Damn, thanks for that post. Didn't realize it was an early card, thought I was gonna completely miss it seeing a band tonight. Prelims are already on.

Can't wait for Yan vs Sugar Sean. Tons of good matchups.

Titty Meat 10-22-2022 10:49 AM

Yeah I'm pumped for this card

jd1020 10-22-2022 01:51 PM

O'Malley wins a split decision and when DC asks him if he thought he did enough to win that fight that was the most "Nope" delayed look on his face for a good 5 seconds before saying a word you'll ever see. When the fighter himself doesnt buy that he won the fight you know the judges are ****ed up.

Being Russian doesn't help. I had a feeling Yan would get screwed by the judges.

Easy 6 10-22-2022 01:58 PM

I'm in, hoping to see that arrogant Chechen bastard get humbled...

Easy 6 10-22-2022 02:19 PM

Easy 6 10-22-2022 02:26 PM

Steven Seagal in the house, lets see his fat ass get in the octagon LMAO

JohnnyHammersticks 10-22-2022 03:03 PM

Makhachev is going to be a problem for a long time. Lots of ways he can beat a guy.

I just hope fights more than once a year like Nurmagomedov did. That division has too many killers to be t boned by those guys.

Im not a fan of the wrestle dominant fighters. It's effective but boring to watch.

I used to feel that way until Khabib. Started to respect watching him just maul other really good wrestlers. Almost every MMA fighter is a highly-skilled wrestler but those dudes take it to another level. Gaethje was a two-time state champ and NCAA D1 All-American but Khabib completely dominated on the ground. Not even in the same league. Now I like watching them.

I respect the hell out of it, but I'd rather watch a pure jiu jitsu match. The chaining moves to gain better positions/submissions is more entertaining than shoot a double, sit in mount, and throw rabbit punches until you feel you can ground and pound.

dmahurin 10-29-2022 06:52 PM

No PPV tonight but this Kattar/Allen fight starting soon should be really good.

dmahurin 10-29-2022 07:25 PM

Damn, Kattar blew out his own knee.

WhawhaWhat 10-29-2022 07:53 PM

Le'Veon Bell vs Uriah Hall fight just started. Boxing match instead of MMA but it's still NFL vs UFC.

Titty Meat 10-29-2022 08:06 PM

Lol Bell fighting after the bell

dmahurin 10-29-2022 09:35 PM

Bell did better than I thought he would. Now for Silva to smash Paul.

dlphg9 10-29-2022 11:02 PM

I only got to watch the first 4 rounds, but I thought Silva looked way way way better than Paul.

dmahurin 11-12-2022 03:14 PM

Bumping this one early today, the card tonight should be really good.

dmahurin 11-12-2022 10:04 PM

Been a great one so far. This Poirier Chandler fight is going to be awesome.

JohnnyHammersticks 11-12-2022 10:16 PM

Tough to see it end like that for Frankie, but you kind of figured that’s how that fight would go. Guy had a ton of talent and heart and is a HOF, but he took a lot of shots to the head over 2 decades. Hopefully he doesn’t have much long term damage.

JohnnyHammersticks 11-12-2022 10:22 PM

WOW! What a 1st round!

dmahurin 11-13-2022 12:04 AM

Damn!

Titty Meat 11-13-2022 12:09 AM

I ****ing left the bar beginning of the 5th ****

PAChiefsGuy 11-13-2022 06:12 AM

This douchebag is always promoting the most worthless shit in the most incredible ways.

How the UFC has stayed afloat with that idiot running the show is mind boggling. The UFC would be smart to replace Dana as the face of it all. He’s just a huge piece of shit and this is just the cherry on top.

Don’t expect not to get hit if you’re forcibly restraining someone as well. There’s no way to spin this to look even remotely OK for that douche bag.

Titty Meat 02-04-2023 09:50 PM

Anyone watching this late ass card?

poolboy 02-04-2023 10:01 PM

Fedor shouldnt be in a ring anymore

Titty Meat 02-05-2023 02:05 AM

KC Dan 02-05-2023 02:18 AM

It says Tickets Not Available. Is that because it's sold out or because it's so far out?

Urc Burry 02-11-2023 11:55 PM

Awesome fight. Volk is such a ****ing stud. Was fine with Islam getting the decision.. just wish ground control with no submission attempts even coming close hold so much value

Titty Meat 02-12-2023 12:56 AM

That 4 rounder wasnt too bad. Fast paced.

Mephistopheles Janx 02-26-2023 04:40 PM

I have Fury winning both rounds so far.

As much as I dislike Paul for a multitude of reasons... good on him for having enough skill to earn a bunch of money getting people to pay hoping to watch him get his ass beat.

Mephistopheles Janx 02-26-2023 04:43 PM

Fury Rd1, Rd2

Paul Rd3

Mephistopheles Janx 02-26-2023 04:47 PM

Fury - Rounds 1,2,4
Paul - Round 3

Paul is ****ing gassed

Mephistopheles Janx 02-26-2023 04:51 PM

Fury - Rounds 1,2,4,5
Paul - Round 3

Mephistopheles Janx 02-26-2023 04:55 PM

Paul - Round 3,6

Mephistopheles Janx 02-26-2023 04:59 PM

Fury - Rounds 1,2,4,5,7
Paul - Round 3,6

Easy 6 02-26-2023 05:01 PM

Its sounding like Paul finally met a real boxer, not some washed up MMA grappler

Mephistopheles Janx 02-26-2023 05:05 PM

Fury - Rounds 1,2,4,5,7,8
Paul - Round 3,6

----

My prediction is that the fight is called a draw in order to set up a rematch

dmahurin 02-26-2023 05:07 PM

Paul was way outclassed in that one

With that weak knockdown in 8 Paul may have gotten that one.

rfaulk34 02-26-2023 05:17 PM

Fury by split decision.

I haven't watched it yet but at least Paul (as much as i can't stand him) finally fought a young, legitimate boxer. Though Fury isn't really near the top of anyone's list of contending boxers.

Jake didn't belong in there with him at all. It was embarrassing for him.
