Cinci will be in the playoffs if Burrow gets healthy. They can go 0-3, maybe 0-4 and still go 11-2/10-3.
That’s if Burrow is healthy tho. Big if |
like i guess what is worse, assuming worst case for both: not making the playoffs or burrow tearing an achilles. I'd say the achilles but I'm not a doctor

But, as has been demonstrated, Burrow is no Alex Smith. |

But they're not pulling off a run like that anyway. I know they went 10-1 down the stretch last year but they literally played 1 good team in that run. |

Joe Burrow with an injured calf behind a struggling offensive line vs Aaron Donald next Monday... what could go wrong.
|
If Burrow can get healthy the Bengals can very easily still get the #6 or #7 seed. Look how it lays out.
Division winners: Chiefs Ravens Jags Dolphins Wildcards: Bills Titans Who does that leave for the Bengals to fight for the #7 seed? Chargers (who are also 0-2) Steelers Jets (Rodgers out) Colts The 7 seed in the AFC may very well get in with a losing record. Start rooting for the Steelers to get in over the Chargers or Bengals that is a much more favorable matchup for KC. |

1st, most of that is based off a 16 game schedule. 2nd, teams like the Chiefs/Bengals/Bills/Eagles etc are all plenty capable of rattling off long winning streaks. Bengals could go 0-5 and still make the playoffs. |
