He’s young. If that happened to me right now, I’d be in-traction for two weeks.

Ok when I first saw it I thought their legs got tangled and that somehow catapulted him up. No I have no idea wtf happened. Does he have springs in his ass?

Sassy Squatch 10-28-2024 04:50 PM

I think he bounced up off the defenders heel.

philfree 10-28-2024 05:32 PM

Worthy had a little of a rough day with a couple of drops so it was good to see him catch the TD toward the end of the game.

Unlike Skyy he keeps running his damn routes so Mahomes will keep throwing him the ball.

He needs to develop as the season goes on like Rice did last year.

Hopkins should help with that.

pugsnotdrugs19 10-28-2024 08:24 PM

I know he didn’t come down with it, but I was actually really encouraged to see him go up and try to attack that ball near the right sideline with his hands at the high point. We can work with that.

Rookie’s got a long way to go

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Just noticed that Xavier Worthy ended up running 40 routes with two targets, no catches or yards (obviously one big play changed that).<br><br>Past four games:<br>136 routes run<br>23 targets<br>10 catches<br>81 yards<br>0.59 yards per route run</p>&mdash; Shaun Newkirk (@Shauncore) <a href="https://twitter.com/Shauncore/status/1853691038881181888?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 5, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

He looks like Mecole Hardman

Pasta Little Brioni 11-05-2024 07:57 AM

Getting out played by Coleman is very sad

ThaVirus 11-05-2024 07:58 AM

Yeah, that’s a good comp thus far. He looks like a fast guy playing football more than a football player who’s really fast.

He’s been a bit of a fusion between the Hardman and MVS roles out there. I’m sure he’s helping other guys out by stretching the field but we’ll need more from him than running 40 wind sprints out there on game day.

I’m still excited about his potential though. Pat has overthrown him a handful of times. If he hit on those, this narrative is flipped on its head.

O.city 11-05-2024 08:06 AM

I get why he may not, but you can tell Pat doesn't trust him. I don't understand why we don't take a few shots per game.
