And won his SB with Cowhers team.

With one of those wins being what convinced the Chiefs brass that they needed to go get Patrick Mahomes.

Sort of. But guess who's gonna go to the HOF and guess who never will.

Poor Marty... if he could've just gotten one SB win, or hell, maybe even just reached the SB once, he might be a HOFer. Just an unfathomably bad playoff record.

Seeing his aww shucks look after every playoff loss was both sad and infuriating.

Marty went his first 14 years without a losing record s in the regular season. He only had 2 losing records in 21 seasons. There's a gleam.

I find it hilarious he can basically say anything he wants and ends up printing a banner for it every season.

He has the best job in sports.

Of course Andy had the right approach.

“But since Dec. 11, when the Chiefs had their first practice before facing the Cleveland Browns, Reid held shorter practices than usual. Justin Reid explained that even the tempo between reps was much slower, all designed to help the players recover between games.

“It was tough, mentally, physically, especially these past two days, traveling here and figuring out what (the Steelers) are doing and who’s playing and all the injuries,” cornerback Trent McDuffie said after Wednesday’s game. “Three games in 11 days is crazy for anybody, but I thought we handled it very well. We struck together. Nobody held their heads down. Nobody said this is hard or complained. It was just, ‘Let’s go out there and win.’”

I think we dramatically underappreciate Andy's end game clock management these days. He used to suck at it, but watching both Zach Taylor and Sean Payton try and give the other team the win today makes it clear that we just very rarely screw that stuff up.

We win by small margins, since we have an incredible field goal kicker, and a coach who doesn't care about running up the score. Play situational football, run down the clock, and win the game.
