Damn, good pick.

kccrow 04-24-2025 08:46 PM

Golden to the Pack, that's one hell of an amazing value there.

No, you don't draft a RB in round one because you can get them later in the draft. It's not QB or LT or even DE.

scho63 04-24-2025 08:46 PM

Green Bay loading up the offense bucket.

TribalElder 04-24-2025 08:46 PM

Golden realizing he has to stay in greenbay for good

contemplates suicide on the way to the stage

Gravedigger 04-24-2025 08:47 PM

I think they need to reduce the hallways.

Nope. Amazing how quickly opinions change and how quickly they will revert to the expected if KC drafts a RB in round 1 and he doesn’t become the next Marshall Faulk.

kccrow 04-24-2025 08:47 PM

Come on Veach, do your magic

Couch-Potato 04-24-2025 08:47 PM

Maybe GB trades us one of their WRs now

Rain Man 04-24-2025 08:47 PM

Golden fashion score. Very nice Versace look on the jacket. Bow ties are bold, but I won't penalize him for that. Is that an Arm and Hammer baking soda logo on the big diamond G necklace?

This is a tough one to score. I'll go B+, and it would be an A if he'd take off the necklace.

staylor26 04-24-2025 08:48 PM

1. Campbell
2. Conerly
3. Burden
4. Henderson
5. Simmons

BigRedChief 04-24-2025 08:48 PM

I guess the Vikings want their guy

Dunerdr 04-24-2025 08:48 PM

Man been working but the updates look like the first rounds getting ugly already

Please make a deal with the Browns for more draft picks and trade back for those extra picks! My current stance.

Literally the same argument.

It didnt work once so should we abandon it for 30 years?

Were they not already loaded with receiving options? Suppose it's good value late in the first

Wait I thought you don’t draft RBs in the first. Or do you? Or do you do it only if he pans out and then revert back to not drafting one in round 1 again if he doesn’t?

Eureka 04-24-2025 08:50 PM

I wonder if this Green Bay draft pick drove around town today and thought he didn't want to end up there.

philfree 04-24-2025 08:50 PM

I had a little football fantasy about having Worthy and Golden playing in KC together. Oh well! On to the next!

If you take a RB in round one, you can't take a OT, or a DE, or a pass rushing DT, or a CB, or maybe a stud WR because you burned the pick on a player you could get two rounds later.

It's not hard.

KC Hawks 04-24-2025 08:51 PM

Schefter says Giants are trading back into the first round

Rain Man 04-24-2025 08:51 PM

This must be the best guard draft since the 1950s.

Semichief 04-24-2025 08:51 PM

Guard. Yes! Another player falling to us

Gary Cooper 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

What's a Guard?

This is basketball?

TomBarndtsTwin 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Texans on the clock.

Josh Simmons?

Josh Simmons.

Josh Simmons!

kccrow 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Minnesota stood pat and took a ****ing OG? Holy mother of hell

PHOG 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

3rd guard off the board in the 1st round.

Gravedigger 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

RBs aren't the only thing coming back, Guards making a comeback too.

SHOWTIME 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Giants trading up…sheduer or dart?

TomBarndtsTwin 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Oh, shit. Giants just traded up.

Dart or Sanders??

BryanBusby 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

****!

wazu 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Giants gotta be taking Sanders.

FloridaMan88 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Giants trading back into the first round to take Dart?

Stryker 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Glad CHIEFS did not trade up to 24! Let the draft fall to us :thumb:

RunKC 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Giants traded with the Texans

Gravedigger 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

Damn wonder what Houston got for that jump.

MahomesKnows 04-24-2025 08:52 PM

I hope it's Dart!

Come to the Chiefs.

Gravedigger 04-24-2025 08:53 PM

Funniest thing would be if they went with Jaxon Dart and not Shedeur Sanders.

Rain Man 04-24-2025 08:53 PM

Donovan Jackson fashion grade. He shops at Target. That's about all that can be said. Grade: C-. Not offensive to the senses, won't stand out in a crowd.

Oh, Giants are back in the first round.

Except it’s not the same argument. QB value and RB value are not even close to the same. It’s why KC has won SBs with a 7th round RB and not a 7th round QB.

ChiliConCarnage 04-24-2025 08:53 PM

Right in front of the Rams. Has to be QB

Couch-Potato 04-24-2025 08:53 PM

perfect scenario for us Texans trading out

ROYC75 04-24-2025 08:53 PM

Hello Sanders, welcome to the NY Dump

ForeverIowan 04-24-2025 08:53 PM

Giants goin Dart

Semichief 04-24-2025 08:53 PM

This is getting even better. Guards and QB’s being taken means more DL’s available for us.

I can never see the value in trading up.

Except when Veach does it, of course. But that's because Veach always hits on his picks.

BigRedChief 04-24-2025 08:55 PM

So it looks like Simmons will slide to us at 31. Do we take him? Will Veach?

Dante84 04-24-2025 08:55 PM

Cost was #99 and a future 3rd to go up 8 spots.

5 spots before we pick... if we jump within there it would probably be what, a 4th this year and a 6th next year?

RunKC 04-24-2025 08:55 PM

The only team left in front of us that could take Simmons in Baltimore, who had him in on a private visit.

Ugh
