People seem to forget we have already beaten the Ravens and Pats this year. Those Chiefs teams were not as healthy and playing as well as we are now. |

IIRC, there were stats that showed that there isn't much correlation to how you play going into the postseason and the actual postseason, but I am probably way off on that. |

You can also stretch it back to 2005, 0-2 vs Denver.
So, six. |
I know the Patriots lost to the Rams in 2001 before beating them in the Super Bowl.

@BAL and a gimpy Ingram or us? You match up with both well. |

12-1 means nothing to me right now. They aren’t as good as most of those teams were IMO. Most importantly Brady. Andy is the type of coach who can mitigate a bit of that bye week advantage schematically. But anywho. Again, not going to be easy regardless. |

On Sunday, the Raiders need the Houston Texans to beat the Titans, the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Steelers and the Colts to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars. If all those things happen, coupled with a Raiders win, then Oakland will sneak into the last playoff spot.
Currently, the Titans have the final playoff spot and would play the Kansas City Chiefs if the playoffs began tomorrow. |
Considering how bad the Chiefs have destroyed the Faders this year- it would be a great tune-up game for us at home.
Go Faders!! |
The Ravens are really in the catbird seat here in the AFC. Chiefs are in the worst spot.
Damn Titans game. |

If it weren't for the Bills being the 5 and being pretty sound and physical, I'd rather be the 4. Go play the Ravens first, then see if someone can go beat New England.
I don't think the Texans can beat the Ravens. They can beat the Pats. |
Playing the Raiders would be great for us. We would destroy them again and basically get a bye.
|
Yeah, we should all be cheering for the Raiders to get that 6 seed. We would power drive them, could rest in the 2nd half.
|
Greetings chiefs. Congrats on a great season. Looking forward to seeing the Titans in arrowhead next wknd. Should be a great one.
|
We may get the Steelers after all

I'd take the Steelers, but that D is really good.

I’d rather plays the Steelers than anyone else. Duck Hodges is there QB

Speaking of playing the titans, I had no idea Andy Reid had such a bad record against them. It's like he's cursed with all the flukey stuff that happens, especially the last 2. |
Shame that Brady won't play vs Lamar. I wanted one of those teams to knock the other out. Now we'll need to beat both of them to make it to Miami.
|
Resting players multiple weeks in a row is not a good idea IMO. So the Ravens starting unit will not play in 3 weeks.

Tony G actually giving the Chiefs love. Saying we will beat the Ravens and the defense is the main reason why. Says we will give Ravens problems meanwhile Vick Wiley and Whitlock all said Ravens are better
|
I am not really impressed with the Ravens defense. The Jets were running all over them. I see a repeat of the last game. Mahomes and our offense will carve them up. This time, their running game will run into a Red brick wall.

He can’t cover Hill whatsoever and I really don’t think he can hang with Watkins when he is locked in. |

The only thing that scares me in the playoffs is Clete Blakeman. Especially if the Cheatriots are involved.

Why are we getting mad that the media loves the other two teams? Let them. Build the hype, and the pressure. Give Lamar the MVP. Let Mahomes go under the radar slightly. Getting overlooked is more fun anyway.
And all that being said, plenty of pundits will pick us in those matchups, most certainly in the NE game. |
i love the way we're going into the playoffs
there is no pressure being the 3rd seed i think we are a vastly more confident bunch than we were last season |

there has to be so much less pressure on the offense, too, knowing they don't have to be perfect

I’m sitting here getting jazzed up just thinking about the playoffs.
Just take care of business these next two weeks and then the fun ****ing begins. I want to beat the Patriots and Ravens SO bad. We have a HUNGRY team and fanbase that I think wants this more than anyone else in the field. Just thinking about this team in the Super Bowl sends chills all the way down my body. I really think we can do it this year. We’re gonna embark on an epic giant slaying tour that will be so much more satisfying than if we had to play a bunch of patsies. I’m ready to put on some pads just thinking about it. LET’S ****ING GO |

This team is locked in. We not only have the players to get it done, they have the confidence to get it done. We KNOW we can beat the two teams standing in our way. And after last season, they are hungrier than anyone else, PERIOD. Lamar doesn't even know how to play worth shit in the playoffs. He's never done it. We got the players, we got the coaches, we got the motivation and **** all these other bitches. We're coming for our goddamn trophy and then we're going to Miami and we're going to take a big shit on the NFC. |

The savages of KC aren’t going to lose again this season.
I said it right after the Titans game and I meant it. It’s a shame we didn’t have Pennel all season. |

I think Terez Paylor was spot on when he talked about Tenn on his show last night.
The whole city and fan base will be nervous and antsy, but it will be an ‘over my dead body’ game for Mahomes. And with HB, Clark, Suggs leading the charge in practice for the D... no way they have that letdown. Paylor said we’d whoop Tennessee this go around. |
This will help the Texans a ton against Baltimore

If I could go back in time change those two losses into victories and not get Suggs, I wouldn't. Suggs completed a pass rush trip that might be second to nobody right now. And we have the perfect DC to utilize their talents. Spags shut down Brady, Moss, and the rest of the 18-1 2007 Super Bowl runner ups. A great pass rush played a key roll. Not mention a rotation of Clark, Suggs, Jones, Nnadi, and Pennel is very solid against the run. Being we may be seeing the Titans AND Ravens, this is vital. |

If we play our game, no one is beating us. Hell the offense hasn't had to get out of 2nd gear for like the last 3 games. No one scares me. |
