Berry and Houston, who had to go through aa lot to get extensions, skip workouts. Peters stays away. Maclin in gets cut unceremoniously. Players express shock and are pissed.

Perhaps Clark and Reid were looking at a potentially fractured locker room on their hands, with more cuts having to come next year and players not wanting to negotiate with Dorsey. and Clark decided to take action?
