The moderating team didn't bother to learn from that little nugget 'o history, so here we are repeating it. |
Did I miss in the TOS where it says that wishing injury on a player is a bannable offense?

what you guys do is worthless, pathological repetition also. |
Looks like Foles won't have Spencer Ware....and maybe not Maclin either.
|
Jeremy Maclin (groin) will not practice Thursday.
Maclin was not listed on the injury report Wednesday, so this looks like a new injury. Mid-week additions are never a good sign, but it is too early to tell how serious the injury is. Maclin's participation Friday will be important to monitor. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5169/jeremy-maclin |

Maclin's been near invisible this year and has dropped a ton of balls. Kelce, Conley, Hill and West can make up for his absence, if necessary. |
DJ
Howard Maclin Ware All on the injury report. Geez. Thank God it's the Jags |

I also wasn't very optimistic about this team competing in the playoffs, particularly if we had to encounter Pittsburgh again. I'm still not, even when we get Houston back. You can also probably forget about taking down New England. |

Anyone else think it's odd that they continue to list Ehinger on the injury report as if he is just missing practices? They still haven't placed him on IR.
Must be planning to do it whenever Houston is ready to roll. |

Anything I'd say has been said...BUT I think Alex is acceptable...but glad we have a fairly complete Back up. I am comfortable with this.

New England's defense has really not been very good up to this point. There are no complete teams in the AFC this year.

just noticed (re-watching Indy game). DJ made a pretty aggressive hit on Luck's scramble out of the pocket at 2:16 in the 1st quarter. Kinda felt like a retaliation hit the way he squared him up

Clay finally gets behind the Chiefs starting QB and gets banned.
LMAO This place is weird. Quote:
Let's start with you. As a poster, you bore me more than 5000 consecutive screen passes ever could. You never make me laugh, you never make me angry either. You're just kinda' floating in the bowl like a goldfish on it's last breath. And that thing in your avatar is so ****ing ugly, there should be a special Chiefs Planet function for blocking the avatars of specific users, created just for you. I would literally rather look at Hillary's saggy gunt and poot-chute than that thing you're sporting. For the love of God man; people are sometimes eating meals while perusing these threads. And you say Clay had no shame. :shake: Next up, Tigger Unclesuck. Goddamn. Do I even have to expend energy typing ANYTHING about that mother****er at this point? That fact that I even had to spend 2.5 seconds typing that little dick sucker's name is offensive, and should earn him a bannin'. Wasn't he a ****ing Jaguars fan or some shit?! What the **** is wrong with you people? :shake: And finally.... Sandy Girlparts. Oh......child. You know, I'm old now and I've been around more blocks than Black Bob's uncle tricked his little punk-ass out on, but I do not profess to know everything in life. That's a mark of wisdom. That said, there is one thing I do do know with eleventy billion percent accuracy: If and when, the Chiefs were to make the playoffs...... And if and when, your "sweetest taboo" pulls his usual bullshit.... (pause to meditate, please) Clay? He might have left here stomping but when he comes back, son? He's coming straight outta' Compton on your ass. And I can assure you with GREAT assurance, that no living army of red-wearin', goatee-sportin', itchy trigger-fingerin' Mod-Squaders will be able to stop it. That boy got Matrix-level PC skills. Awwwwwwwwww, sheet! LMAO Now, if you'll excuse me, Imma' saunter on down the way: http://www.siren.com.sg/FINAL_resize...olemiteBIG.gif |

1) anybody else get a sense that this Alex Smith precaution stuff is kinda similar to the DAT situation and has the potential to be more than just this week? Smith talked about his family and his brain and he was obviously effected on both hits and is now in "return to play protocol" ...? some say he passed all the tests, some don't...just, strange.
2) Nick Foles is going to throw for 300+ yards Sunday. Get ready for an exciting showing from the guy. We're about to see what this offense can do when it's able to utilize its speed at WR to force the safeties to protect the deep zones instead of playing up all day. Should be fun. I won't be shocked if he has 300+ yards and 3-4tds against a strong Jags defense. I really think these WRs are extremely underrated and are going to thrive with a guy like Foles that will give them a chance to go make plays. 3) http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...&postcount=837 if anybody ever bought the bs excuse that tigeruncle****er wasn't blackbob, here's the accidental admission. 4) banning clay for that stuff is orangemane level shit 5) nice post, DCS |
Sac hates Foles. I am no longer undecided. Like voting for very politician Brownback has come out against...
Foles baby. Bring him down. |

Foles best year was under chip kelly
|
Quote:
People keep saying that, but his successful season was under Chip Kelly. Under Reid he was 1-5 with a 6-5 TD/INT and 6.4 Y/A. He was every bit the checkdown artist Smith is but added turnovers to boot. There's very little evidence that he's capable of excelling in Reid's system. Hell, there's very little evidence he's capable of excelling at all; he fell to shit the year after his hot streak when the league caught onto Kelly's system. |
People should really read MN's post on Arrowhead Pride that breaks down Alex and Nick's performance from Sunday before you go slurping up the Kool-aid .
A large number of the people who want a change seem enamored with demanding the deep ball and need the sexy play to satiate their football consumption. Foles isn't going to go deep more often, but he'll take shots further down the field on deep balls more than Alex. |
He ha he said deep balls
|
Quote:
So he's not going to go deep more often - but he'll take shots deeper down the field more often than Alex. |
Quote:
|
Quote:
If it's 20ish yards, both Smith and Foles go that deep at roughly the same rates. In fact, Foles threw more fewer than 5 yards than Smith did. It's just that Foles depth of target on deep balls was deeper than Smith's was. He's right; read the article. It's a very fair, evenhanded analysis. |
Quote:
Just reread it..... I get what you are saying now. |
Quote:
|
Quote:
The threat of downfield passing totally changes the way teams defend the Chiefs. If they have to respect deep passes, they can't key on the run game and short/screen passing game as easily. It's no different than the concept of running the ball to set up play action pass. I get that Clay doesn't necessarily present it that way, and that his machine gun posting style makes it difficult to see past his bullshit and recognize the bigger picture. But a deep passing threat blows this offense wide open, not just in terms of big plays, but also in the effectiveness of all the short high percentage stuff that Andy Reid loves. Are people being intentionally obtuse? Or do they really not understand this? |
Quote:
They don't understand this. People are so afraid of a turnover because they are used to Smiff playing QB, who doesn't have an "attack" nature and just wants to make a few plays and not **** up. As a result, any turnover when running a conservative attack gets magnified. |
