Post-Manning life was a question mark at QB either way. Had they traded with SF, there would be talk about how they screwed themselves there on a guy that flamed out and the league caught up with ... again, I get it. The key to remember is that most of the fans understand and expect ups and downs this year. Yeah, you'll always have those that believe the train keeps rolling. Hell, just look at the KC fanbase the last few decades... the next year is always full of optimism, as it should be. Will Denver repeat their playoff performance? Most likely not. Will Denver make it 6 straight division titles? Probably not. Is Denver doomed to be a bottom 12 team in the league? Barring injury, no... and I say that reflecting back on 1999. Denver lost key players - it happens and while the defense is replacing key guys, they're still gonna be nasty and they're still going to be one of the best. Kubiak will run his offense this year, compared to what happened last year. And, say what you will with what happened in Houston... that offense had success there, albeit inconsistent, but that offense did well with a sound ground game and a nice defense with Jake Plummer - another turnover prone bonehead that came from AZ with more career turnovers than TDs. We'll see what they do with Sanchez and that core of players around him, there's lots of skill players - the cupboard is far from bare. Sanchez rightfully so will have a leash and if he stumbles or gets hurt, well then Lynch is thrown into the driver's seat and let the chips fall where they may. Starting any rookie QB is a gamble. We all like to comment on the perils of other teams as if we really understand the many nuances of building a team and how players will work in new environments, but in reality we're all just gas bags. Some with a bit more gas than others. |

What's the climate going to be if they start 1-4 or if Osweiler has success.... The fans are used to the Manning gravy train...as is Elway. This is the first, real, adversity he will have faced since becoming GM. Last season would've been ..had Osweiler/the defense not bailed him out. |
Quote:
Honestly though, you put way too much focus on the loss of Brock and are really fixated on this narrative that Elway has screwed the team with his ego. Panthers Colts @ CIN @ Bucs Hell, after those 4 games 'with Peyton in 2015' or Brock this year, the 1-3 or 2-2 was a very real outlook. That's not an easy start, so for me ... 2-2 would be the desired goal. Falcons @ Chargers Texans Chargers Little better, with 3 at home (oh no ... 5 of first 8 at home - bastards!) After 8, they are likely sitting at 4-4. Less than that wouldn't shock me, nor would it concern me. Now, if they're losing ugly, then that's another topic entirely. Going back to 2012, I remember all the talk about the team being a joke that was delusional for thinking Peyton was going to do anything with that team. The supporting cast was a joke and it was 'lucky' wins with Tebow. Now, I hear 2015 was 'lucky bounces'... hell, I guess Denver is just annually lucky, so there isn't much to worry about. No? |

I have already discussed Malik with you in the past regarding why I am OK with letting him walk. I do regret losing Trevathan and I think that was a mistake. It's my opinion that the Broncos like what they had behind him. They might be concerned with his injury history but they just drafted two guys with injury histories so that's questionable. I think they would have regressed on Defense even if they kept every single guy and magically made them not be a year older. Last year was one of those historic Defensive runs. You can't expect to repeat that. But they will still be very, very good. They are overhauling the Offense. Not just players but scheme. In theory it is only going to demand from Sanchez the kind of play that was demanded of him when he first came into the league. We'll see. It's going to be a fun ride. |
Quote:
I'm sure he thought he was taking it to the Chiefs on that signing....yikes. Had he not signed Sanchez/Stephenson...he probably could have landed Kap. Not that he is any prize but might have been a serviceable placeholder in the boot-leg system. At any rate...you know the o-line is desperate when throw that kind of money at a below mediocre RT. I'm still trying to figure that one out....Chief fans are glad he is gone and replaced with the best RT in the league. |

And slighting his future QB? Brock Osweiler is an overrated joke. He's got all the athleticism of Joe Flacco and Heath Schaub's love child. You think that we're worried that he's going to find success in ****ing Houston!? ROFL Your post is mind blowing to me. Most Broncos fans are on cloud nine right now talking about what a genius John Elway has proven to be. He just delivered his third Superbowl Ring to the team, turned around and dumped an over rated QB, and then drafted a replacement who looks infinitely more athletic. Do you even have any inkling of what that move means to the franchise where the salary cap is concerned? It means we'll be able to resign Von Miller and still have a ton of room in 2017. Your posts just come off as silly. We've won 5 AFC West titles in a row, and there's no reason to believe we won't be competitive for 5 more. |
You think we're in cap hell! LMAO!
Here you go - the Orange Mane Cap Guru has our back: http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=123158 Why don't you read that thread and find out what we think about Elway and the job he's doing. |

At least the other Donko homer's have decent arguments...Denver wouldn't have won the Superbowl without Osweiler. Typical, spoiled manning-tard....your post epitomizes why I will take such joy in watching your fraudboy GM and slimy franchise burn. Just a reminder...KC slapped the living shit out of Manning in your house. Sent his ass to the bench. No one, in KC, respects your team anymore... |

Just thought I'd let you know. You should go to the horses butt and read "the winds of change" Seriously...that's the thread I got banned from the OM for. I set it up to be a poll and was banned before I could even post the poll part. I'm sure you'll shake your head at your mods for that one. Seriously, bud. You need to get new mods on there because outside of maybe 15 posters, the whole site has turned to straight shit. |

Now that's ****ing hilarious, right there. |

That board sucks schlong. |
I love how the Osweiler narrative has changes since he left for Houston. Before that, when he was a Bronco, KC fans said he sucked and that he was never going to amount to anything. I'm a long time poster here and whenever I mentioned Brock as the eventual starter (when Peyton was playing) all I got was grief and "he sucks, blah, blah, blah" from kc fans.
Now, Brock is the greatest QB evah! now that he has left the Broncos (seriously, you all are some goofy posters) and when it looked like KC was gonna draft Lynch, oh lordy, how great was Lynch! But now, Brock is gone and Lynch is the future for the Broncos and the narrative has again changed: Brock is great and gone, Lynch is 10 years away from being anything and in the meantime, Sanchez is the worst QB who ever took a snap in the NFL. Meh, I keep saying this and I'll say it again--I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm not worried. |
Quote:
Personally, I don't care, I wouldn't have banned you. But, seriously, it's not just that one thread and its timing, it's your overall history. |

Where are the posts of people saying Brock is awesome now? I haven't seen them, but I will say I don't think he's very good.
He's in a great situation in Houston, so there's not an excuse for him to not be good. Top defense, very good OL and some great weapons. |
Taco is a coward that runs his mouth on this board, but bans anyone questioning his precious Donkeys on the Minge....pathetic
|
Quote:
Even in that specific thread a lot of Bronco fans said it was lame to ban me. Just like they did when I got banned another time for returning fire on posters there bringing family into threads and the mods doing nothing about it for 2 months...I literally returned fire with 1 post (that was extremely tame) and was banned minutes later and nothing was dobe to any of the bronco posters. Even OABB said it was complete bullshit to mod like that. Also, your fanbase is some of the most thin skinned around...you guys think it's "trolling" by saying (in preseason) that I think KC has a top 3 group of corners, a top 3 pass rush, that Peters was the best CB in 4 drafts, Kelce can be the second best TE in the game if he continues to ascend, that Manning was done, and many other things... Even Taco went into a thread where people were calling me a troll and told people to quit complaining about me because nothing I was saying was anything other Bronco fans weren't already saying. His words were "if you guys can't take a rival fan coming in here saying these things, maybe you should find a SOFTER message board to frequent. If you don't like me saying that, THERES THE DOOR" That's what he said. Then, a week or 2 later, I got banned by one of the pussy mods for that thread I started "the winds of change" Go ahead and link everyone here to the thread I started right after the SB. So they can laugh at you for calling that trolling. |
The Minge is an embarrassing joke. No wonder so many doncos post here.

The Chiefs have been one of the luckier teams in the league the past few seasons. If a starting QB gets injured, it's almost a guarantee the Chiefs are going to play them the following week.
|
Quote:
You got Cincy without Dalton and Eifert. The Pats without Gronk, Edelman, and Amendola. The Steelers without Brown, Bell, and Williams. The Chargers without Verrett and Weddle week 17 (won you the division) But since the Chiefs played the Steelers without Roethlisberger we're the lucky ones. We're so lucky we lost our two best players in the same season to ACL injuries. Not to mention Maclin, Ware, Morse, and LDT all in the playoffs. Tamba also wasn't close to 100% even after he came back. |
