This mystery guy talk assumes that Sean Smith's agent was telling the truth. Agents have been known to lie, I've heard.

Free-agent OT Jake Long is leaving St. Louis later this afternoon without a contract from the Rams. |
Long needs to hurry up and sign a contract with the Dolphins for around $8 million a year. Then Albert can get his deal done.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Indianapolis Colts released safety Tom Zbikowski. I would take him as depth. |

I like some things about Fishers style, but lord is he a caveman with his passing game... he's leading them to three yards and a cloud of 8-8. |

I've always liked that kid, though it was a losing effort, he made some rick-dickulously accurate throws in his last college bowl game... he was hitting guys perfectly in stride down the sideline with only millimeters to spare. |

Id love to get Dumervil to **** the broncos and have an OLB pass rush rotation
|
Pewter Report @PewterReport
Based on info I just received, I'm more sure that CB Darrelle Revis will be a Buc by Sat. Jets have to pay him $1 mil roster bonus tomorrow. |

Wow. RT @JosinaAnderson A source tells me that Greg Jennings got a 5-year deal with a max value of $47.5 million, $18 million guaranteed. |

Still, i'm not seeing much to hang my hat on with the current receivers, no proven killer for Bradford to instantly go to and lean on... but i wish you well, the Rams are definitely my pet, #2 team. |

Anyways, I understand what you are saying. However, I do believe Givens has the ability to turn into a burner with his speed, Quick has untapped potential(which can be seen in the game at SF when he stiff armed a guy for a TD) but is a bit raw, and Pettis has some connection with Bradford. Granted, not the same as he had with Amendola, but the connection's there. I really, really, really want Tavon Austin if he's there. He'd be an upgrade over Amendola. As for replacing SJ, I think they'll go into the season with the RBs they have right now plus a guy in the draft possibly. |
Lance did call the Colquitt signing
|

I think he's alluding to Karlos Dansby. My guess
|
Now im not all excited nor fully believe it, but this would make sense due to being so discrete with who was in town. If it wasnt a big deal it wouldve been known who it was. We've heard who has all been in town

SOC said the guy in KC was Sean Smith. He also said they were working out a trade with Minnesota for Cassel. The next day, Sean Smith signs and Cassel gets cut and immediately signs with Minnesota. I think they might have been onto something. |
Restricted free agent Emmanuel Sanders has signed an offer sheet with the Patriots.
The terms are not yet known, but the Steelers now have five days to match or let Sanders walk. Although "poison pill" offer sheets were outlawed in the new CBA, the Patriots have an abundance of 2013 cap room while the Steelers have next to none. It's quite possible the Pats have structured their offer in a way that would be difficult or impossible for the Steelers to match. If that's the case, Pittsburgh would receive New England's third-round pick as compensation since Sanders was tendered at the original-round level. Shit gettin' real. |
Osi and Dansby would be a nice get and the way things are playing out money wise it has to atleast be possible.
