Sneaky solid move considering they're probably going to move Bubic to the rotation.

I'm curious to see what Quatraro says but my guess is that Estevez will close since that's his traditional role and Lucas Erceg will serve as their stopper that can be deployed anywhere between the 6th and 9th innings, depending on the scenario.

Bubic was dynamite in the second half with a 32% K rate, 4% BB rate and 28% K-BB. He also had a 53% groundball rate.

Very nice! But I don't know about Bubic in the rotation, but I suppose they have to find out one way or another.

The pros with Estevez is he is a strike thrower and misses bats.

The only worry is that he had a 50% flyball rate in 2024.

He's going to pitch at least half of his games in Kaufman Stadium.

JJ has really flipped the bullpen into a strength. Got power arms now. Can really play into different situations. Team has 5 legit power arms with strikeout ability in Erceg, Estevez, Zerba, Hernandez and Harvey.
