Not with Mahomes at QB.

Probably so htis, you're likely right.

I would just like to get off to a good start this year. If they get to the bye at 6-1 or 5-2, they're just absolutely in the drivers seat.

We have no clue who will be what at this point yet. An injury here, an underperformance there.

Like, are we sure the Bengals are making the playoffs this year? They had a flukey run last year and everyone wants to put them in this contender state. The Bills have been really good for a couple years. The defense is a bit older etc.

You just have no clue til the bullets start flying.

Give me the HOF coach and QB.

Agreed.

But we have to acknowledge the Bengals did the exact same thing to us twice last year. They took our best punch in the first half, only to completely bewilder Mahomes and torch our D in the second half.

Mahomes has to prove he can beat a three man rush with a spy on him. It's one of the very few areas he has to prove.

I'll bet on him to do it, but I'm reticent.

I love how you basically started your post with an unlimited get out of jail free card.

Low key think that Colts game is gonna be a battle. One of the toughest games of the season.

It’s amazing that once Ballard actually got off his ass and became aggressive, his team now looks much better.

Honestly, I wrote up the OP, then thought to myself "what to do these jackwagons always complain about" and cut them off at the pass.

Happy to own my actual opinions. Clarifying that they're not absolute or infallible is part of them.

No shit.

Rivers, Wentz, and now Ryan.

That's the smell of desperation.

Barely missed 4K yards last year with a terrible roster. He’s also got an elite RB to give the ball to and a good OL.

They don’t have to rely on him. He can be a game manager and do it well IMO

In a 17 game season on a shit team where they were behind every week he didn't throw for 4k.

Nah.

He's at best Alex Smith 2015 in KC. Good roster, etc.

But we know that story.

Did you even watch the Chiefs prior to Mahomes?

Chiefs had good teams before Mahomes. It’s a regular season game and they’ll be pumped to play us at home.

Still think it’s gonna be a battle. Doesn’t mean the Colts are some elite team tho

But they're starting the year without Jc Jackson apparently for 2 division games.

They could very easily be 0-2 by next Friday with 2 division losses.

We will do our part.

You guys do yours.

And we will laugh together at the media crying for their pimply golden boy.

Yeah, you wanna win at home etc. But you still get to go there and it's week 2.

With the way the AFCW looks on paper this year, every division game is gold. They are all huge.
