I was at training camp the day he initially ****ed his hand up... I saw it happen. It was in 1 on 1 pass pro. He immideiately started bending over and grabbing at his wrist/thumb. Brandon Albert was yelling at him after getting beat "come on Fish!" And the coaches made him run the drill 3 more times until he eventually beat his man. He then walked behind the group, spiked his helmet into the ground and yelled 'f--k!'. I'm not sure if they're pushing him into playing time and not letting him recover, but he was visibly in significant pain that day.

Haha, that was me, dipshit. Pay attention. And was that not what was requested? "If we must select an OT at 1.1 let it be Fisher not 'Joeker,' we want upside."

Heres the thing.....It was such a weak draft overall, there are 32 teams who would have selected Fisher or Joeckel #1 overall. It's not like the Chiefs took some huge reach like TyJack.

So I don't get why people are so upset?

Not buying it.

They're probably pushing him because OL get ****ed up hands. They all do. It's part of the position. They expect him to play through that shit.

Probably trying to sew up his vagina and make him a man.

Really? These were the consensus top 2 guys. It was just a horrible year to have the #1 pick.

Or maybe it's a legit injury that is very difficult to play through. Why is everyone so absolutely convinced that's not a possibility?

He got beat on that sack because of his legs, not because of his hands.

I guess you didn't hear what Warren Sapp said about going against an OT that couldn't use his thumb he said he would exploit it since the thumb is the most important digit for an OL.

Do whatever you want, but alot of the anger is misdirected. I've already stated the Chiefs bad luck they picked the wrong year to tank. Not much they could have done.

We can keep telling ourselves that; but we all know in the first round of this draft somewhere there is most likely a stud that will mean more to his team than any RT or LT can for this team. Consensus didn't matter. It was a free for all with any player we liked at our disposal.

And Dorsey didn't care to find that guy. They pigeonholed themselves into a lame pick when they traded for Alex Smith. They bet on our ability to win now with Smith at the helm and saw Fisher as the most talented guy to protect him.

He needs to play like it.
