True.

Free agency and trading of players won't begin until Monday.

I also heard that future picks can't be traded either. Only this years picks.

i don't think FA will happen until the appeal has been heard, which could be a month or two

Someone on NFL Network said this morning that normal offseason activities like free agency, cuts and trades would likely start on Monday.

I dont think much other than workouts and things of that nature will start before the appeal is finallized

yeah, just read something like that...i think they're assuming the stay of appeal won't be granted, which is probably true given how the owners have got their ass kicked in court..

Gotta love Babb...says the Chiefs will take Carimi and then completely makes the case as to why they shouldn't take him.

What a clueless mug...

huh?

he gave his opinion about who they would take based on his info, then he gave his personal opinion about who they should take....

and he was spot on with his critique of taking a RT in the first

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-28-2011 02:34 PM

I can't be here until the draft starts. I'm just getting scared.

Jerm 04-28-2011 02:34 PM

He was just guessing, wasn't basing it off anything and then he killed the argument to take Carimi right after...just found it humorous.

He's like the rest of us, no way in hell he knows who Pioli is taking or what he's thinking about doing.

I'm getting that feeling I used to have where you knew you did something wrong...and it was only a matter of time before your parents found out.

Pierson on 810

also making the point that you don't draft a RT in the first...especially when you need a WR, NT, and LB

he also said Johnson should be moved back outside and draft an inside LB

It's not that bad. Denver drafted Al Wilson with the last pick in the first round in the 1999 NFL Draft.

Logan Mankins, FTW!

Add Pierson to the "dumbass shithead" list.

Yeah...move him after he just had his best season as a pro....brilliant.

First in with this -- the Pats will trade the #28 or 33 picks. Or both. Remember, you heard it here first.

Personally, I'd gladly trade the 28 for a 2 this year and 1 next year. In a freaking heartbeat. Not sure that's going to happen given how close to the end of the round it is, but still. Those picks apparently have heightened value because under the current scheme 1st round picks can be signed for one year longer than 2nd and later picks, so if you have a QB that you want to wrap up for a bit longer because he's going to basically redshirt his rookie year.....
