It's pretty simple, she was told by her bosses multiple times to knock it off, she didn't. What do you expect?

Hell, technically speaking they didn't even fire her. They let her finish her current contracted work and then opted not to contract her for any further work because of her continued behavior. Therefore they did her a massive solid despite the fact that she was repeatedly spitting in their face despite them asking her to kindly not do that.
