Don't get me wrong. Marriage isn't a must. My mom and her boyfriend have been living together for over 10 years. He's basically a stepdad to me. Not everyone needs a piece of paper.

she has said this many times but I don't think that it is the piece of paper that she wants, it's the last name

Speaking as a woman (which I am), sometimes we just like to change something up. I'll switch my living room around, I'll cut my hair, I'll lose over 30 lbs....I've had my last name for over 30 years. It's cool, but it would be nice to have a new one...lol.

Figured out why my computers running slow. Damned automatic updates. Gonna restart my computer so that stupid message will quit popping up asking if I want to restart now or later.
