Not to be negative, but I don’t see the trade comp being all that great.

The same reasons the Chiefs are hesitant to pay his number are detriments to trading him. Then you ask some team to hand over picks to us and a big contract to an aging DT?

If we trade him, just prepare to be disappointed with the comp.

Figured as such, though they stupidly locked up Murray with a high-dollar, 5-year extension last year.

Their HC is the Eagles former DC, so maybe he could be tempted.... I dunno.

Can you imagine we win the SB and end up with the #1 overall pick?

TRADE HIS ASS. GET THE DRAFT PICKS. 0UR OFFENSE HAS PROVEN IT CAN CARRY US. MEANWHILE WE HAVE A SOLID LB AND DB GROUP

VIRCH CAN OVERHAUL A LINE IN ONE OFFSEASON

Sassy Squatch 08-21-2023 03:15 PM

They do also have Houstons pick.

I think they would be the dream trade partner, if we go that route.

I believe they have two 1st rounders as well. Wonder if it could be in the wording that Chiefs get the higher of the two picks.

Dang, Cards might end up with the #1 and #2 picks haha

The Cardinals are tanking.

It would have to be a team with a rookie QB trying to win. Chicago, maybe Seattle.

But it's not gonna happen at this point.

Ok if true we could agree to take the lower of both picks. Houston or them.

Why would the Cardinals want to do that? They're rebuilding, not adding 3rd contract Vets at high costs.

Poster’s MO is stupid trade proposals.

Especially with the Cards.

The only team that would trade for him would be a contender with a need at the position and cap space to pay him.

There just aren’t that many teams in that specific situation.

Yeah, if Jones holds out into the season, he kinda ****s the team.

Doubt Mahomies, Trav, and Andy are gonna be super cool about that.

They’re not going to send us even one of those picks. It’s theirs and the Texans. Very likely they’ll have the first two picks in the draft and take Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr.

There’s a negative probability they’d trade either of those for the right to pay Chris Jones 30mm/yr.

Get this out of your heads.

Would Browns? Thinking they are a playoff team with Watson 100% ready? Put Jones next to Garrett?
