But that's not how the game is played anymore.

And nobody's better than Andy Reid at creating a free release for a WR.

There is no evidence being bigger equals less injury prone. It may even be the opposite. Calvin Johnson...big WR outta the league. Juju...bigger WR...always hurt. Sammy Watkins was about avg...very injury prone.

The positions that fly around the most are usually smaller so there are more violent hits. There is absolutely no reason a 170 lb guy will get injured more than a 230 lbs guy.

MOAR WORTHY!!!!

We're not worthy! We're not worthy!

pugsnotdrugs19 09-29-2024 08:28 PM

Kinda forgot in the moment that he got interfered with.

Kid is legit as **** at tracking the deep ball.

Kid did good today.

Gonna need him to grow up in this offense a little faster than we wanted...but he seems up to the task.....throw the kid the rock and lets see what happens.

He's basically going to have to do what Rice did last year, he did today. It took Rice a half a season to really get going, hopefully Worthy does the same and I don't see why he wont

Worthy led the WRs in snap count today. It seemed like he was out a lot to me though, but I guess I was just missing him.

The kid can run the entire route tree. It's time to force feed him the ball and get him 10+ targets a game.

-Biggest play of the game.
-Closed the game.

Worthy and Kareem wrecked the Chargers today.

He's got the juice. Between him and the eventual Pacheco/Hunt 1-2 punch, wbf!!!

The Chiefs are going to go back to their 2022 offense, with a better RB, more experienced OL and a way better deep threat.

The key will be finding enough completions between the last remnants of JuJu's knee, Justin Watson, Mecole Hardman and Noah Gray to recreate 2022 JuJu (78 rec) in the aggregate.

Since those players themselves had around 50 catches in 2022 that's gonna be a tall order.

We are going to need to make a trade. Unless Jody Fortson has something we haven't seen before.

TheGuardian 09-30-2024 12:18 AM

Yeah his biggest play was the closer. He's gonna need to run the whole tree now.

I'm so sad RR is out. :(

While the TD was exactly what we wanted to see when drafting him, the more important part of his performance was two important catches on third downs with one closing the game.

Deep bombs are great but we've seen Hardman and even Watson make those. I can't remember the last time any WR not name Rice in this team had two key third down completions.

This skill cannot be overstated. This alone is enough to make a real difference.

Sassy Squatch 09-30-2024 06:07 AM

Being forced to fast track his development may not be the worst thing. Already showing incredible promise as a deep threat and was happy to see him get involved on a couple crucial 3rd down conversions.
