Justin Houston?

Yeah, I get it but what a poor decision by the Seahawks to trade away a valuable 2nd round pick and a very productive receiver.

I'd take Kearse in a heartbeat, especially at $5.5 million per.

They’ve made a lot of dumb trades lately

I heard that Matt Cassel guy is pretty good and he was just cut. We could use a back up Qb.

Former Pro Bowler
Playoff experience
Familiar with the city
Wiley vet who could help groom Mahomes

That would be a pretty big indication Veach doesn’t like any of the WRs here

Look, I'm fine if they sign a free agent WR but I don't think it's a wise move if they're throwing $10 million per out there for a guy like Sammy Watkins.

They're not winning anything this year, the defense needs a complete overhaul and they don't have a 1st round pick. I think they need to address LG, ILB, Safety, Corner, D line and depth before tossing out a huge contract to an inconsistent player who will be with his 3rd team in 3 years.

Teams hit on productive receivers all the time on Day 3 and the Chiefs should be no different.

They won’t eat that much money

Yeah, the Chiefs just cleared about $25 million in cap space so they can take a $12 million dollar Dead Cap hit by releasing Justin Houston.

That's a great plan which makes perfect sense.

Don’t really disagree

But they are seemingly putting as much talent around pat as possible. I also don’t think they are that far off and feel they can compete this year.

We’ll see what happens. Interested to see how free agency shakes

Funny that the guy that was included with him in the trade to KC just cut him.

O.city 03-09-2018 12:34 PM

Plus Houston is still really good

Heh. That is quite ironic.

I would cause the fan base to flip though wouldn't it. The mere mention of the name brings it out already here.

And, a post June 1 cut frees up an additional 15 million, not cuts into the cap space.

And, this Middlekauff guy is the KC guy right?

That’d be awesome. They’ve never given Rodgers the surrounding talent he deserves on defense.

Panthers traded for Torrey Smith.

No

TambaBerry 03-09-2018 12:42 PM

can someone explain why that when you trade a player does their entire contract not go with them?
