It's been 10 years but some of you seem just as hung up on him today as you probably were when he was still the GM.

Hopefully this 10 year mark of his being fired will make it the last time we post about that sack of shit on here other than his inevitable death.

Bernard Pollard and The Flying Banners got us Reid, Reid got us Mahomes.

It's good to occasionally remind ourselves how bad it can be so we can continue to appreciate how good we have it now.

I had to go back and look. We fired Romeo on December 31st and hired Andy on January 4th (same day we fired Pioli lol).

My memory was choosing to remember that Andy's interview happened like a day after we fired Romeo, but that's clearly not the case, so it makes sense that Pioli would have been on the job looking for a new coach even though Clark Hunt had already come out and said, "I'm changing shit up. I'm hiring the head coach and the GM and both are reporting to me."

I'm trying to dig deeper and I can't find anything on who the guys were that Pioli was seeking out. I want to know. I want to know what this incompetent boob would have pulled out of his ass if he were given another season or two.

I remember after the interview there was a little excerpt with him on ESPN I think where he said he was off to Arizona for his next interview. Was pretty annoyed
