The same guy that failed three years in a row? The same guy that was traded from the Eagles to the Rams? The same guy cut from the Rams? The same guy that wanted to quit football? The same guy that said he’d only play for Andy Reid after talking with his dad? That guy? You’re a zero. |

I do find it funny how much hate the Deberg got for this thread and now we're talking about Foles, the Superbowl MVP 1.5 years later.

What could have been. Ugh.

Go fall on that sword someplace else, moron. |
Foles needs good protection. He's got an accurate cannon arm but he's not mobile. The combo of Philly's Oline and Petersons aggressiveness on early downs allowed him to thrive. Keep him out of 3rd and long and he can ball. Put him in an R2P2 Jeff Fisher type offense and the result is just as predictably bad. He needs to go somewhere with an aggressive offensive staff or it won't work.

However, there were multiple instances the last few games where Foles didnt have any protection, managed to move around while avoiding the pass rush, kept his eyes downfield and completed a drive/game changing play. I know this is tough for a Chiefs fan to identify since it almost never happened within the last 5 years, but it is one of the big reasons why the Eagles won games the last few weeks. Foles was money and played like a franchise QB. |
