I've got a bottle of Jefferson's Ocean at home, it's a perfectly good bourbon. Nowhere near my favorite, but it tastes just fine going down. |
It's a bit pricey IIRC. It's good, but for that price there are a few others i'd prefer.

Like you said, Bourbon is like wine/beer - people like different things. |

But, for the person that just has a bunch of Well bourbons sitting at home, that Jefferson's Ocean would taste damn good. Has anyone heard about their liquor store's starting to receive their allotments for the fall season? In KS/MO, store's usually start receiving the higher-end stuff around Nov 1. The store I shop does a lottery for those bottles. Hopeful to get my hands on any of the following this year: Old Forrester Birthday, Four Roses Limited Ed Small Batch and anything from the Buffalo Trace 2019 Antique Collection. I'd also take an Elmer T Lee 100 Yr Tribute if I find one. Just recently came across a bottle of Michter's 10 Yr Single Barrel and a friend gifted me a bottle of Pappy 10 Yr. |

Speaking of collections, I just realized I've never posted mine. This is what's regularly out, plus I have some spares of Blantons, McKenna, EH Taylor, Wathens and Eagle Rare stashed.

He got me a bottle of the double oaked and I have to say I like the regular better. Its a bit much, but it will get drank. |

Just saying the gimmick of aging it at sea doesn’t justify it’s price point for taste. You do you though. Drink what you like. |
