I would hope that if they sign him to a similar number, in two years we look at it as a steal. He outplays that to a super bowl. Ha!

He's also still only 24 years old and you're being misleading with his stats..

2014 BUF 16 16 65 982 15.1 84 6 1
2015 BUF 13 13 60 1,047 17.5 63 9 0
2016 BUF 8 8 28 430 15.4 62 2 0
2017 LA 15 14 39 593 15.2 67T 8 0
Total 52 51 192 3,052 15.9 84 25 1

Still think his best years are ahead of him.

STUD!

LMAO

That’s an easy claim if you’re just looking at the numbers.

Anyone who watches him play knows he’s much better than that.

People have GOT to stop counting on a bunch of unproven young WRs on this team that can’t do half the things Watkins can. You’re worried about money when our QB makes $4M for the next 3 years. The Chiefs have $83+M in 2019 cap space right now, and that number can jump very easily if they need it to. Money is not an issue.

O.city 03-09-2018 11:14 AM

They’re gonna pay big $ to a wr. Too much smoke around it

Atleast Watkins is young I guess

**** you, I live in LA and watched him many times, even in person.

I also have a friend that's super close with ownership of the Bills and their entire organization that said Watkins was a headache, which is why they traded him.

You wanna give him $10 million? Fine. Those contracts have been an epic disaster for the Chiefs and this one will be no different if it goes down that way.

I'm fine with either Robinson, Watkins or Richardson.

I'd even take Moncrief on a cheap 1-2 year deal as well.

I wonder if Veach is interested in moving Conley. You can't really play him out of the slot. Or maybe they just don't think he'll be 100% ready at the beginning of the season.

Young, underproductive and expensive.

Perfect combo.

Yeah, that 5th rounder, Ty Hill, what a bust.

Never count on young WR's.

After the 2019 season is over the following players will be FA’s:

Tyreek Hill
Chris Jones
Reggie Ragland
Kendall Fuller

Veach can’t afford to make the mistake Dorsey did and wait. He’s got to start extending these guys as early as next Spring....and they won’t be cheap.

ROFL

I can only laugh at how short fused you are. Glad to know you live in LA, again, though!

Atleast with the young part you’ve got a chance to actually pay for future production vs prior

He’ll get his chances here with pat and hill Kelce and hunt

I’d go a different direction but sadly, they haven’t asked me my opinion

Why was he 5th rounder again?

If you seriously are counting on Chesson or Robinson...

As of right now, 1 of those players is on track to make big money

pugsnotdrugs19 03-09-2018 11:19 AM

Any contract they sign Watkins or another WR to is going to be one they can move on from after two years anyways. I don’t think they’d regret it, but if they did.

Dane—you say your buddy heard Watkins was a huge headache. If that’s the case, why are the Rams ‘aggressively ‘ trying to retain him?

O.city 03-09-2018 11:19 AM

Ragland is an ILB that’s had half a good season, Jones hasn’t been the most reliable and fuller is going into his 3rd year with 1 good season under his belt.

I’m all for keeping our own but it’s not time yet
