Legendary post! |
Here's the deal, I don't care that Rice is in trouble. I'm a fan, not his parent. Sure, I'd prefer that he hadn't! Didn't think he was the type to get in trouble. But, ultimately, it doesn't matter or effect our season. Not one bit. At most he'll get maybe a 6 game suspension, who cares. Not like we won't make the playoffs without him, and that's when the Chiefs true season starts!
Am I missing something? |

People learn in vastly different ways. There is no reason to believe he didn't have visual references. I also think you are hung up on something that even if removed from the story doesn't in any way increase his prayers and thoughts for his team. |

Of course there's an online version of it, but does that mean there's no physical counterpart? Has the reporting been incorrect? Genuine questions as I don't follow. |

Was it the part of him admitting to police that he was driving, the dash cam footaage of him causing the accident, or the camera footage of him running away from the mayhem he just caused like he was playing Grand Theft Auto with others lives? Which one is confusing you? |
Who’s that in the background?

And will be the precedent set for every slapdick going forward if he gets a slap on the wrist. |
He didn't do shit. He drove fast and wrecked a car. You pussy do gooders cant handle it and now assume he was basically running drugs for the cartel. Get back in your moms basement until the pizza rolls are ready you vile Chiefs hating vermin.

NFL Player is in a high speed crash that kills his girlfriend - gets 3 months of house arrest. Ignored - "Rice should spend time in prison!" Massive list of NFL Player suspensions under the personal conduct policy that amount to almost exclusively penalties of 1-4 games for various traffic incidents all the way up to friggen gun violence. Ignored -- "It would establish a soft precedent!" I just don't know what more can be demonstrated to this point. The legal system doesn't drop hammers on cases like this. I've said it literally from day 1. They just never have - doing so here would be a WILD swerve from existing precedent. The NFL barely even notices these things; 1-2 games tops unless it's a DUI situation. Doing anything else would be, again, a MASSIVE break from existing policy/precedent. So is it their position that the NFL should completely scrap literally a decade+ of precedent and a trend established by dozens of previous incidents that are no better (and often worse) than what Rice did? All so they can hand down a disproportionately stiff punishment to Rashee Rice? The degree of willful ignorance and obstinance here is just a head scratcher to me. |
Yeah. The NFL grows as an organization whose responsibility is to themselves.
The law grows at a snails pace and is beholden to a piece of paper. |

Have we devolved into "racist" yet? I've been away for a tad.

The more the articles reference the 3 and 4 year olds he walked away from, the harder it will be for the NFL.

And here we are once again "but he did it too"!!! How brave of you to admit you're a troll. Who said "life sentence"? Troll. https://media.post.rvohealth.io/wp-c...k-1200x628.jpg |

I get more ass than a toilet seat in the women's room on ladies night at the local pub. Have you considered your own hypocrisy? "electric chair" "life sentence" "on the run" "chief hater" etc...etc... Then admitting you're a a troll while trying to hold others to your perceived standards? Just STFU. |
Someone please start a new thread when something actually happens. Thx. Done reading all the heartfelt crying/whining at this point.

Its kind of a perfect shitty storm For Rashee Rice.
Given the timing, when not much else is going on in the news cycle. ESPN and other news outlets have reported on the situation ad nauseam. The Chiefs are currently "the" team every one loves to hate, due to recent success. Also given he was emerging as a solid WR given the state and media conversations about the Chiefs WR position group last season. Feels like every one piling on an already shitty situation. I have to admit as a Chiefs fan, of course I want Rashee Rice back on the field ASAP. I was so excited to see his progression last year. I am just tired of losing talented players to dumb ass decisions that affect the teams ability to move forward successfully. He is an important piece of the roster and regardless how you feel about the severity of the punishment. This shows some questionable decision making on his part. Its something all teams deal with, but the Chiefs have seemed to have had more incidents in recent history. 2cents |

Mike Florio only has a son according to google. According to the NYPost (not credible according to Kiimo, Partially maybe credible according to staylor) it was likely sired by Clark Hunt.

I doubt Florio is having any extra-marital seggs outside of an occasional paid professional. So why's he such a douche?... |

Do you boot the trolls who are widely ignored or only if the thread gets hijacked... and then do you boot people for simply hijacking a thread because they're an idiot or angry or whatever. And do boot those who don't necessarily start shit, but are constantly continuing it.. and is mocking all of this ok or is that too distracting, too. It would awesome if there was a magical place where people stated their opinion once and didn't feel the urge keep coming back to say the same thing over and over, and focused more so on what other people thought than megaphoning their opinion.... but, here we are.... |

Well, I can't get there until like Friday at 7PM, and that's assuming my flight goes smoothly. Once I get in I'll probably need to grab a bite to eat and of course I'll have to get an Uber. So like Friday at 9PM I will be at the statue, I expect to see you there. Ahh shit, my kid's First Communion is on Sunday, so I should probably just stay here. But you get my point! Jerk! |

I won’t draw out this conversation here in this thread so as to try not to derail it any further, but since you commented on it like I said there is zero consistency with this. You decide to boot me from the Clark thread because I take issue with the Lebron apologist suggesting Clark is a ball hog like Jordan while some of the same things go on this thread or other threads where posters continue to spew out crap over and over and over and nothings done. Had I known he only engages in unending arguments that tries to support his POV no matter how flawed I would have reconsidered. But even still a quick message even if it was a warning would have been sufficient. Chaos thrives where there is no consistency or rules. You can kind of throw your hands up in the air like you did here acting like where do you draw the line. But it’s not as hard as you seem to insinuate. There can be murky situations yes but all that needs to be done is establish a series of consequences that are to be followed in sequential order for when problems come up. No different than what a teacher does in a classroom. Or continue to do nothing and keep getting what you’re getting. And for those repeat problem posters you establish a different set of criteria for when the “regular rules” don’t work again no different than what a teacher has to do with difficult students who the regular rules don’t work for. |
