I can understand the no pass interference but that was clearly a defensive holding penalty. Dude straight up tackled Kelce

Yea and they looked at it on review and still didn't call it. No logical explanation for that one.

You can't call defensive holding on review. Also, the play was NOT reviewed.

It makes no sense how the call on the field was reversed after it was announced to the crowd and the ball was moved

I made the mistake of going on their forums before the playoff game a few years ago and reading that delusional shit. We all know what happened next.

9.5 point dogs and they’ll find a way to discount the Chiefs. I don’t even have to read it.

No ones scared of mahomes. Watson’s 1-0 vs mahomes. Texans win 35-31 if fuller plays

And that poster is a mod

Just read 3 pages of their board and more think they’re going to lose than win it seems. Doesn’t even matter though

Halfcan 01-06-2020 10:24 PM

The refs are not going to let this game get out of hand for the Texans- this crew will make sure of it.

FloridaMan88 01-06-2020 10:31 PM

Really nice of ESPN to put “the Chiefs are 1-7 in home playoff games since 1995” on their bottom line scroll when showing the preview information for Sunday’s game.

Suck it Bristol, your Faketriots are eliminated.

Most are scared actually. A lot of them acknowledge that we were short-handed, Mahomes was gimpy, and the defense has improved.

The Texans have about as much collective charisma as a door stop....with Brady out of the picture, the NFL doesn't want them in the SB. Is anyone outside of Houston really going to be excited about watching them play?

Fun fact...the Ravens/49ers SB was the lowest rated in the past 20 years....they are about to renegotiate their network deal. The NFL/advertisers want Mahomes..

It wasn't reviewed... It was a DPI called against Kelce, they said it was before the ball was in the air and the ball was not thrown to Kelce, they could have corrected the call to defensive holding and negated the pick... It was incompetence.

BossChief 01-06-2020 11:52 PM

Houston doesn’t even know what is about to hit them. O’Brien is going to get depantsed.

The team hasn’t been this healthy all year. All the speed should be a full go.
Andy has been setting up a monster game plan with the last month being straight vanilla.
Andy when he has 2 weeks to prepare, is nearly unbeatable.
We add Fisher, Suggs, Pennel, Hitchens, Watkins and Jones to the team that should have beat Houston earlier in the year.

The biggest factor...

What tape are they going to watch to prepare for us?

I assure you, the offense is going to be far different than anything they’ve put on tape all year with everyone healthy.

Same goes for the defense.

They are going to make Watson look like a clown. Picks, sacks, fumbles.

It’s going to be one hell of a show.

Yes this. I think this one's over mid third quarter. This team is playing so well and the Texans are just so mediocre. High talent level or not. At the end of the day we clearly have the better QB and the better coach. Add to that, other than running the ball, I don't think there's much they do better than us. It would take a miracle for them to beat us.

They are the first ones to disrupt a punt returner...I didnt see anything in NFL rules that says this cant be done.

If you have no desire to block a kick...it seems resources would be better spent there.

Give Tyreek an extra second to pick his lanes...if they used him.

Hammock Parties 01-07-2020 01:33 AM

Good way to open up a hole in your front line for a fake punt and an easy first down.

Teams...generally, only fake punt if they are desperate. I'm not saying every single time.

You could have that built in to the play design....where the front drops back also. No intention to get pressure...just give the returner more time to set up.

Chiefs=Champions 01-07-2020 05:46 AM

Teams have built in fake punts though.

Because they are a pretty inconsistent team from week to week. Guess we'll see which version of Texans will show up this time. That win against Buffalo was pretty ugly, so I don't even think we can say the "good" version of the Texans showed up last weekend.

In one sense they are. But worth noting is they have an established consistent pattern of winning two games in a row and losing one game. They have done that all season long.

Kidd Lex 01-07-2020 07:44 AM

Chiefs are going to beat the Texans in all phases. Chiefs 34 - Texans 20

Yeah, that’s a pretty funny pattern. Hopefully not a bad omen for the Chiefs. Texans lost in Week 17, so in theory they are not due for a loss until Week 3 of the playoffs. Hopefully the Chiefs destroy that pattern.

arrwheader 01-07-2020 09:57 AM

Some one put it best. The good teams are all at home. Simply it's the playoffs. Chiefs win if they bring the A game. If they don't win and advance then they don't deserve it.

If you simplify it then it's easier to be calm about it. The better team advances. Chiefs are the better team they should. If they get bested by Bill oB and the Texans then they had no business being in the SB this year.

The officiating crews are mixed crews for the playoffs. The head official works with an all-star crew that hasn't worked together all year. It won't be near as bad as the week 6 game, quit worrying about it. :thumb:

If you look at the guys entire posts he breaks down a ton of the Bills passes...if Josh Allen had been a above average QB he would have thrown for about 350 yards and 4 TDs, he left a bunch of plays on the field.

Not sure why’d you think this?

I’m sure the NFL would MUCH rather see Mahomes vs. Lamar. Last years MVP vs. this years MVP. They’ve battled twice with Mahomes coming out on top in both. The matchup last year was hella exciting with a great finish.

Ravens already obliterated the Texans this year. No ONE (outside of Ravens and Texans fans) want to see that re-match.

I would actually expect some calls to go the Chiefs way this week, if there were any of those shenanigans . . . . . .

It doesn't have to be a conspiracy theory for it to be true. The Refs suck and will likely blow calls or call phantom penalties because....well, that's what they do.

Exactly my point. Until the NFL gets an automated system and takes the human element out of officiating, blown calls like what we had in the last game against the Texans will continue to happen.

Calm down butthurt Donko fan.

They already got to see the Ravens blow out the Texans earlier this year. No one wants to see that ratings land mine in the AFC Title game. We know how that story plays out. Chiefs vs. Ravens would actually be a good game and must see Tv. Last years MVP versus this years. It’s what the NFL wants to see.

That was you, right?

:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:
Have you ever been right about anything concerning the Chiefs? I just checked on part of your post history, and I'll be damned if I can find a football take of yours that has worked out.

Just on general principle everyone should believe the exact opposite of whatever opinion you post just based on your history of being completely wrong every time you type something . . .

Sorry but the Texans are going to win.

They really really aren’t.

I would actually expect some calls to go the Chiefs way this week, if there were any of those shenanigans . . . . . .

The NFL loves them some Watson though too. They’ve been promoting him hard.

Mahomes vs Watson this week, Mahomes vs Lamar Jackoff next week, followed by Mahomes vs Rodgers in the Superbowl. That's going to be 3 weeks of great football.
