I’d still pass at that price though. |
The Texans did the same shit they were something like 13-13 when throwing on the LBs.
Basically every offense that plays the Chiefs is going to show you, lots of runs, isolation of the LB's in pass coverage, if the QB is mobile lots of movement as we suck with that too and some deep shots. If you can do those things the Chiefs won't stop you. |

And let’s be real, considering Clark and Jones were out, and the defense was really only responsible for 24 pts, they did ok. |
If Breeland is actually hurt.....I’d totally trade for Ogletree and Jenkins in a package deal.

Go get Slay so you can play Mathieu as the RB defender against teams like GB last night.

We don’t need any CBs

The Packers played that game with a bunch of no name dudes off the street at WR, without Devante Adams they have shit there.

A legit #1 type corner changes how you can play defense. Bigger than just covering WRs.

Chris Mortensen just said eagles going to take a shot at Slay so you can cross him off list. Eagles will have a better first round pick then KC

Yea the real way to answer that question is.....we thought it was our year, it's probably not. So damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Wonder if you could get Ogletree in here and restructure / extend him in the offseason to alleviate some of his cap hit.
He’d be an upgrade. |
Pretty sure Ogletree sucks

Tyreek possible suspension, Chris Jones injury and Wylie injury has led to Hardman, Saunders and Rankin who look ****ing great. I’m not scared of anybody if this team is full strength. Are you? Texans without Watt? Bills? LMAO Ravens? I wouldn’t mind getting the 3 seed and playing the Bills at home. Like they will beat us with Josh Allen? I would love to play in Indy again. That would totally **** their HFA. The last thing you want to do when playing us is have our team healthy with the QB and weapons we have in a dome on turf. We play Indy on the road, they are ****ed. |
Apparently Vic Beasley can’t even garner a 6th round pick from teams. That’s how bad he sucks
|
Ogletree is rested as 66.9. Better than any of our current LBs

Think the Redskins played themselves. Now it's obvious the Browns need more than just a LT so they might not be as willing to go all in on one piece.

Wouldn’t Ogletree and Jenkins take up a massive amount of cap room that we’d like to roll over?

Can we stop pretending like our draft picks are shittier than they are? I mean, drafting around 24 isn't out of the realm of possibility at all right now. That 'way better 49ers pick' is almost certainly going to be after ours now as well. The trend towards rounding down has been annoying even when it was likely we were drafting in the 28 range. Now that our record is getting more and more middling, we need to stop this rounding nonsense. No, our 2nd is not the same as the Giants 3rd. It's MUCH more valuable than that. |
According to Rappaport Trent Williams is now available.

Had a real chance to win that game last night without 4 of the true 8 or 9 difference makers on this roster. Half the dudes that actually change games for us didn’t even play and they had a 7-1 team on the ropes. The defense, while not good, is definitely getting better and the offense is one returning player away from being the best in football. That is reality. |

House has 8 games to get the linebacker coverage issue sorted out. He seems to have corrected the run defense issue from the linebackers. These are gualitt coaches that have shown the ability to make adjustments in the past. I hope we upgrade our LBers, but it’s possible they also get coached up.
|
They’re playing attacking run stopping style of defense. That’s gonna leave you susceptible vs the pass
Alternative is play the pass and get run on It’s why elite lbers go so early in the draft. |
