Correct to a point. STs can have more of an impact than you are giving it. STs might be out there less, but each error is far more amplified because of that. Huge kick returns are momentum shifters as are muffed punts. Those things can't happen and this STs has had both far too many times this season.

He almost lost us the game last week through his stupidity and arrogance. This is the exact same conversations that were had when CP was debating whether or not Sutton sucks....how did that end?

It doesn't matter how good he "may" have been previously. This team has put a lot of picks and talent on the field for Toub. How many other teams draft dudes soley for special teams? Maybe that's why we were so good. Now we don't have that luxury to waste picks like that. He needs to coach up what he has....or GTFO and let someone else younger who can.
Lolz, okay genious. And which players were drafted solely for STs this season?

Here's the overriding thing: Andy is a second-chance guy. He gives everyone their chance to redeem themselves, no matter what. Toub has had one actual bad season out of over 21 seasons. At the very least Andy is going to give him a chance at redemption next year.

If true then I apologize for that critique. Makes me feel better because I couldn't believe it. At first I thought maybe it was a bad kick but then the next he blasted. The third was so high it looked very intentional.

Special teams returner hero ball has been neutered because of injuries. Doing just the basics are fine. Gray had been getting the most ST snaps. Is some exaggerating going on about Lammons, Lamonds, wtf ever

LMAO again... Look how many new folks were on ST's this year... We lost multi year staples you all hated like Niemann, Sorenson, O'daniel, Watts, Kemp and Pringle. Of course starting an entirely new set of STers after churning the bottom half of the roster created issues. If Butker had been healthy, they would have been in the middle of the pack. If they suck next year, after a year under many of the rookies belt, the fire him.

If we're counting on ST play to win, we're doomed. Just kick the ball out of the endzone and score on every drive. Easy peasy. Lammons was probably guy 53 on a 53 man roster. Of course Toub is going to be disappointed because he's the ST coach. It's not like Toub gets to coach PMII/Kelce, Jones and Bolton, or even Creed. He's coaching STs.

You are seriously giving Toub praise over Skyy making a play? GTFO. Really rough first year for Skyy and hopefully that raises confidence and he builds off it. Hard to give Toub any credit at all. He's out of choice with the injuries at that point.
