I get it it. It’s easy for us chief fans to instinctively feel like it’s the same ole same ole, but I’m as smitten with Veach as I am Mahomes. He’s proven that he knows what he’s doing. He’s a nimble mother****er who isn’t married to any one philosophy. He’s open to all possibilities and will pounce when he sees something he likes. I really enjoy watching him build this team.

Veach also traded and subsequently gave a ridiculous contract to Frank Clark. I have zero faith that Veach can identify and draft a de or cb. He's shown zero ability to find either.

I should clarify that I like the McDuffie pick, a lot, but paired with GK, I think Jermaine Johnson and Daxton Hill/Lewis Cine would make a better set of two players.
