I think that’s the point that some are missing. Anyone can get annoyed at a bad play/throw/turnover. It’s the “Mahomes completely sucks, we never should have paid him, I’m done with Mahomes, I can name four better QB’s, Mahomes has gotten worse since 2018” dumbass comments that are so bad they HAVE to be called out.
Next thing you know, he’s thrown for 410 yards and 3 touchdowns on his way to an overtime victory, over a good team, mind you. If this thread will finally cause these people to cut it back to even half of these insane comments, then Pawnmower is doing God’s work. |
Let no one forget, on the day the Chiefs took current possession of the #1 seed, capping a great week of NFL football, the week before Christmas, Pawn thought it most expedient to make a thread making sure everyone he hates knows how much he hates them.
Remember that when he sheepishly muses why he can't connect with people better in future interactions. |

I've never criticized him even on par with how he's criticized himself, and even when critical I try to steer it to productive analysis [ie, what's causing this, what could help, how long will it last, etc] Never, 'well, that's it. . . It's over' |

At the end of the day, all game threads are like this. Things going well, everyone is happy. Things start to go to shit, and a lot of folks just forget all the good and focus on the bad. I think it's a reflection on our society, not to get too philosophical. People have rooted their whole identity with the Red and Gold, myself included. BUT...people need to remember that nothing you say, do, spend or root for has any affect whatsoever on the outcome of a game. We forget that. To our peril.
I'm thinking about not posting or reading game day threads anymore. Some of the takes are just outrageous visceral reactions. People don't think before they type, they just FEEL and spew it out on the board. Game day threads are poison honestly. People should consider not posting at all during games. I don't even know the point of this post. All I know is, the Chiefs own the 1 seed for now, and I hope and think they will keep that. But who knows what will happen every week. I don't have control over it. No fan does. I'm also into my third pour of Sunday Night Boubon. So...there's that. GO CHIEFS. |

You’re the kind of moron that should be studied. But not studied by just one counselor. You’re in a need of an entire team of psychologists. 24/7/365. You’d be subject of grand rounds where students who wish to to enter the field to study the complete ****ery of humanity can see and hear you in real time. That would, most likely, disgust them, and would thus discourage their participation in the field, but that’s the nature of you. But we have to the weed out the weak. That way only the folks who truly want to help humanity would be there to witness your moronic state of CP membership. |
