Ryan Matthews is flat out SOFT, PERIOD!

They won't likely need that player early though. The current healthy 3 can hold it down until whoever they pick up gets acclimated I'd think.

Also, to counter "he's fragile", the guy has played in 26 games the past two seasons and rushed for 1,200 yards and 14 TD's.

Since 2014, Spiller has played in 25 games and rushed for 430 yard and ZERO TD's.

But Mathews is always injured.

I agree. 16 total TD's and 4.3 YPC or better the last 2 years is impressive. I only worry about his fumbles.

One thing if for sure though: Kareem Hunt is going to be a ROTY candidate, especially with how good our OL is.

He had less than 500 total yards after week 8 last year. He fell off hard. He's a decent #2 back but he's not special.

Guess you didn't watch many Chiefs games the second half of the season.

Sucks to lose him. He is nothing special but he still seemed like the best RB on the roster right now.

Hopefully Hunt is a quick learner. In last wks preseason gm there was a huge hole during one of the running plays that he missed. He's also got to work on his pass blocking. He is a rookie so these things are expected. I think he will be alright but he better be ready because he will be getting a lot of playing time quickly.

We still have West too so we should be alright...

Would be funny if Denver cut Charles and we picked him up and he had a career season.
