Personally, I went into the season with the bar set at "get a playoff win" and the Chiefs cleared it. In my opinion, the season has been a success.

Next season (for me anyways), it's AFC Championship Game or bust.

If the informal use of the term gets bret favre lumped in with a bunch of guys who began their run of success under completely different terms, then yeah, I'm going to disagree with that informal use of the term. BTW, we had a good re-tread QB that we let go (stupidly, IMHO) who went on to win a SB with our arch-rival Raiders...Rich Gannon.
