A DT could slide if Detroit goes LT.

Washington would have the best combination of interior and edge pass rush in the league if they drafted McCoy.

If the draft were to play out like this, they could not pass that up, IMO.

Hamas, I understand your point and perhaps Daniel Snyder is the only owner in the NFL who would allocate such a huge portion of his payroll to the DT position. That is what would prevent it from happening to me plus their huge need for a LT.

Had I made the pick, I was going McCoy.

But I can see why Frank took Bradford.

billay will be in here in a minute. He's busy jerking off to the Jones signing right now.

Could the chiefs pass up a front of hali, dorsey, suh/mccoy, jackson?

If I'm Washington, I'm doing the following:

1) Giving Campbell a year to prove himself w/ Shanahan
2) Drafting McCoy
3) Seeing if I can pry Gaither away from Baltimore with my 2 this year and a 3rd next year.

Didn't think this guy would fall to the Browns.

The Browns select C.J Spiller RB from Clemson

The Browns offense sucked last year and while Harrison had a few nice games he's not the long term answer. Cribbs was the only playmaker on offense. Cribbs + Spiller gives the Browns instant offense and a headache for D-cordinators in the league.

McCoy and Dorsey play the same position. However, I mentioned this yesterday, if Suh fell, the Chiefs would be criminally stupid not to draft him, play him as the 4-3 NT, and have the following lineup:

RDE: Hali
3T: Dorsey
NT: Suh
LDE: Jackson.

You absolutely could not run on the interior or left side of that defense. You could, however, run on Hali.

Ultimately, if I'm KC and Suh falls, I'm drafting him and building the D around the strength of my players.

And the slide of Dez Bryant begins.....

Titty Meat 03-09-2010 04:33 PM

My draft is already better than Piolis draft last year.

I figured dorsey could occupy either a 3 or 5 tech role. Think of a blitz off the left side where jackson becomes the nt, dorsey and mccoy pass rush, hali contains and whoever you bring up to blitz also pass rushes, obviously. Maybe its a little non-traditional, but the versatility of that line could not be discounted.

Edit: and to be clear, I think suh is the better prospect and would bring the same versatility elevated a notch.
