Now we just need to convince him to abandon this whole TE thing and spend his time becoming the nastiest DT in the Big XII.

Maybe circa 2004-2005, but it's been 4 years now. Pete's slipping..

It's a good class. Big, 24 signees. Would have loved to have stolen Trent, but didn't think it would happen.

Yeah, Freeman was a pleasant surprise. And, it may sound like sour grapes, but having watched video of Lawrence as opposed to Wingo, I really believe he is a better RB for our offense. I would have loved to have Wingo at safety though.

Rivals: 37th overall, 8th in the BigXII & 3rd in the BigXII North
Scout: 36th overall, 6th in the BigXII & 2nd in the BigXII North

Burfict switched because he can't qualify to get into USC, I knew he wasn't going to SC after I read that he'd basically need to take night classes to even have a shot to qualify there, so basically he's dumb.

Teo, I figured was 50/50 and I'm not all that bothered by not getting him, he's a Mormon and will likely be leaving for several years after his freshman season to do a mission, Uona Kaveigna who SC signed last year may be doing the same so I'm not all that broken up.

For what the team actually needs for right now getting Telfort and Jones may end up better in the long run since there is no danger of them being gone for 3 or 4 years then returning and not being able to play anymore.

And Jawanza Sterling is a safety, SC signed a ton of safeties this year including Tim McDonalds son for anyone who remembers him.

And if there was one player I was happy to lose it was Randall Carroll dude is a major headcase.

It's funny to see a recruit get offered by practically everyone except USC. Pete Carroll knows every kid in America wants to play at USC.

Except sometimes they get scared, or pissy about what they are told or they can't get in...

Burfict couldn't academically get into SC, Randall Carroll wants to be a WR but he was told by the SC staff that he can't run routes and just has straight line speed and they project him more as a CB, so he had a complete fit about it and ended up at UCLA. He has some attitude issues to say the least...

A couple kids went to UCLA instead this year I'm sure Neuheisel pumped them full of "here you can play right away, there you may never see the field"
