It's the fact that CIN had all the momentum when the incident happened. They had a sweet drive, go up 7. They had a big stop, BUF gets three. The offense was driving again and bam... game suspended. CIN was red hot.

I think CIN should get the W but yes, it's all the same for KC.

Well, it was said about a million times tonight that the football stuff doesn’t matter. If teams don’t feel they can play in the next two days then outright canceling the game seems like the right approach. It obviously has an impact that ripples across the NFL but there aren’t a lot of options.

It was the first quarter. Both teams had very good opening drives. Who knows how the rest of the game would turn out.

They're all shook up for their teammate, can't play the game. Tears, emotions, can't play. But they can go home to their sweet houses and hot wives while the teammate they're so shook up over is fighting for his life in a CIN hospital? Please, hats off the the BUF players who chose to stay with their teammate. In my opinion, they all shoulda stayed.

Yeah there is no avoiding this having an impact on fairness. Obviously it's a trivial matter compared to this man's life. Even if they did play again, whichever team loses will wonder if that's how it would have played out originally. Cincy will think we were rolling, Buffalo will think how can we expect to play well after that. Both fair points.

Yeah Cincy was looking good but Buf is a good team. We have seen comebacks happen. Cincy could have ended up with 3. Being down 7 with 3 quarters to go and a great offense is hardly difficult. Buf looked great on their first drive.
