Send the Jags #30 and a 2nd next year for Josh Allen and Laviska Shenault.

Let's keep playing patty-cake with Allen Robinson while the options we actually need dry up around us.

Great plan.

Are we playing patty-cake with Robinson, or are we waiting until Friday when Mahomes can be restructured?

They could have re-worked Thuney, and haven't.

I've heard Hill may not get done until summer.

Not sure how they are getting anyone without space.

Apart from the injury issues, they just don't complement each other well at all.

Both guys are SDE type players. The difference is that Clowney, when on the field, at least still plays the position fairly well.

Even still, neither guy presents a real pass rush threat.

This DL is going to be an absolute shit-show.

Would you be in favor of trading for Cox and if so do you see Jones+Cox next to each other working?

We can make a pretty reliable guess as to what their remaining options are.

And if their plan was to sit ass while those dwindled, then I guess they're executing it to perfection.

We have no idea whether they plan to trade for a veteran or they have a guy in the draft that they’re preparing to be aggressive for.

When they missed out on Williams, we all assumed we were going to be starting a rookie LT for weeks, then the Brown trade revealed everything.

Let things play out.

Sounds like we'll most certainly be drafting a DE with our first pick. Veach rarely heads into the draft with a gaping hole at a position, so this is foreign territory.

Even if we do get a Clowney or someone like that.... is that really a top-tier starter?

Doesn't look look like we are getting shit this go around in FA.

Clowned is overrated as hell. Still living on his name. I told everyone chiefs wouldn’t do anything

Definitely not that caliber of Frank Clark…..

I don't mind not getting anything done with Robinson either.

But what I do mind is that we seem to be trying to keep powder dry for SOMEBODY and in the meantime guys are starting to sign for below expected $$$. Guys who could really help this roster.

So who are we keeping this powder dry for. There doesn't seem to be anybody left that would take an enormous chunk of it. Moreover, if it were several smaller chunks, we'd see those signing trickling in. Or at least news that we've 'agreed to terms' to be finalized after the league year starts and bonuses are shifted around.

Something is awry here.

Yep. It sucks but we need to be prepared to wait another 3 weeks to see how this all comes together. All we know right now is that they aren't done.

UChieffyBugger 03-16-2022 02:47 PM

To all those crapping the bed over Smith...

Clowney got nine sacks last season

Key got 6 and a half

Jpp and Campbell are still out there along with Houston and Ingram. So there is still time to get a decent vet. Hell trading for Hunter from the vikings is another option too.
