Hmm, I’d absolutely put myself in the in between category. I’ve had a few interactions with Dane over the years, but nothing overly positive or negative.

In fairness, he did bring most of it on himself. Even back when I was fairly combative in nature, sometimes the way he'd lash out at people over seemingly mundane posts seemed extreme even to me.

He did mellow over the years, but sometimes people just don't forget that shit. Eventually I think he just tired of getting hounded by them.

Dane and I got on good until the great Johnny Cueto debate tore apart the Royals thread (a year after Cueto was on the Royals, interestingly).

I miss the man. He had a Skip like talent for keeping order around these parts.

He had some excellent melt downs. I do believe he also wrote the original "I'm leaving forever" thread. The man was a trailblazer.

One of two people I have ignored on this board. Some people are internet douchebags, and some people are actual douchebags. Dane was both.
