A view from across the top of the "easier" route. I bit it pretty good the first time going down. At the top there had to be about a foot of powder and I'm not as good at turn control as I am with less powder. LOL

The first "easy" plunge - just becareful of the drop off right on the other side of those people. You can't see the ground until you're over the lip!

Starting to cloud up again! Notice the direction of the trees in relation to the slope?!?!

I see a ski trip in my future.......

Whew - even though you can't see the other side of that hill - it was much easier than what I had just come off of!

CC - It started snowing again tihs afternoon and they're expecting more tonight. I can only hope that all eastbound routes get shut down and I am forced to stay an extra day!!!

See that bowl area above the trees and to the left? That's where I took some of those earlier pictures (the "easier" trail etc)

up up and away!

It was WILD skiing today - I'm so tired and sore. LOL I'm getting ready to double check my trail map - I think because of visibility (lack of) first thing this morning... I went on a couple treks that I didn't mean too. LOTS of powder still up there at the top.

It's pretty neat, they have lifts (2 of them) that take you up to about midmountain and then you ski over to another lift (4 - oh my) and that takes you the rest of the way up (or you can choose to ski back down lol).
